Research On "Telling Chinese Stories Well" By The Communist Party Of China In The New Era

With China being increasingly closed to the center of the world stage,China unprecedentedly attacks the attention of the international community.At the same time,the Western World is showing vigilance and panic while China is developing dramatically.For a long time,Western discourse has dominated international public opinion,and the international image of China has relied on "others-made" rather than "self-made".A series of statements such as "China’s hegemony","China’s threatens","China’s demise",etc.have been rampant.However,China has not yet formed an international communication power matching its comprehensive strength,and we are still facing a very serious problem of "being scolded".Xi Jinping proposed to "tell the Chinese story well and spread the voice of China well." The storise of "breeding in China and spreading abroad" is a new way of outreach that integrates China and foreign countries,and it will give directions for China’s current publicity work.By literature research,interdisciplinary research,case studies,the integration of history and logic,and the combination of analysis and synthesis,this paper analyze the historical basis,logical structure,development context and realistic trend of the CPC’s "Telling Chinese Stories Well " in the New Era.Under the information revolution,"Telling Chinese Stories Well " to the outside world is the inevitable result of "world communication" and "world history".It is not only a full affirmation of the achievements of China’s governance and administration,but also a sufficient confidence to China’s outstanding contribution to the international community.It is the significant way to improve cultural soft power and grasp the international discourse power.It is the humanistic foundation for Community of shared future for mankind.However,the unpredictable changes in the international environment,domestic environment,and media environment have brought opportunities and challenges to us.On the one hand,China’s overall national strength laid a solid material foundation;major-country diplomacy laid a diplomatic foundation;outstanding achievements in building a culturally powerful country laid a cultural foundation;the development of media technology laid a technological foundation.On the other hand,there are many difficulties to "Telling Chinese Stories Well" to the outside world.First,the ideological conflict between China and the West World has never diminished,and the Western World has hostile stereotypes against China.Second,the alienation of media technology poses a serious threat.Third,the creativity,credibility and communication power of Chinese discourse are insufficient.Therefore,this paper proposes strategies to improve the effectiveness of "Telling Chinese Stories Well" from three aspects:content production,communication matrix and effect evaluation,that is,focusing on content production to improve the creativity of Chinese discourse;building a communication matrix to expand the credibility of Chinese discourse;doing a good job in effectiveness evaluation to enhance the dissemination power of Chinese discourse.
