Research On Xi Jinping’s Important Discourse On People’s Livelihood Issues

People’s well-being is the foundation of a country and the foundation of people’s happiness.The livelihood of the people is an important issue that our Party must face and solve in the new era.The livelihood of the people is not only related to the well-being of the people,but also closely related to the harmony and stability of the country and society.Since the eighteenth congress,The CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has fully embodied the development concept that“ Puts People First” in its daily work of governing the country and the working methods of adhering to the mass line,relies on the people,and does everything for the people,to improve people’s living standard.It takes improving people’s living standards and improving people’s well-being as the starting point and goal of the Party’s livelihood construction work which makes people have more happiness and sense of acquisition,further strengthens the people’s trust in and support for the CPC,which is conducive to the development of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics better and faster.The study consists of four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction that mainly describes the background and significance of the topic,research status at home and abroad,research content,research methods and main innovation points.The second chapter expounds the theory of origins and realistic basis of Xi Jinping’s important discussions on people’s livelihood.Xi Jinping’s important exposition on the livelihood issue comes from the livelihood thought of Marx and Engels,Lenin,Mao Zedong,and livelihood thoughts of successive Party leaders since the reform and opening up,and the people-oriented thought in China’s excellent traditional culture.These livelihood theories constitute its theoretical source.In the new era,the new situation and problems that our country is facing,as well as Xi Jinping’s grassroots practice and life experience,constitute the realistic basis of Xi Jinping’s important discussion on the livelihood of the people.The third and fourth chapters describe the main contents,main features and values of Xi Jinping’s important expositions on people’s livelihood in turn.This paper discusses the measures and methods adopted to solve the livelihood issues from the five aspects of economy,politics,culture,society and ecological civilization.It embodies the characteristics of people,times,inheritance,practicality and innovation of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on the livelihood issues.The value of Xi Jinping’s important exposition on people’s livelihood is divided into theoretical value and practical significance.The theoretical value lies in that Xi Jinping has enriched and developed Marx and Engels’ s thought of people’s livelihood on the basis of inheriting it,and formed the theory on the People’s Livelihood of Socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,which shows the core concept of the CPC’s governance in the new era.The practical significance lies in that it is conducive to the smooth realization of the Chinese Dream and the improvement of the ruling ability of the Communist Party of China,and the practice of building a happy people’s livelihood in the new era in China will continue to move forward.
