With the development of my country’s industrialization and urbanization,a large number of young and middle-aged rural laborers are flocking to urban employment.The phenomenon of rural population aging and empty nesting is serious.In addition,the traditional family pension function is gradually weakened,institutionalized pension security is insufficient,and socialized pension The relative lack of services has made the problem of elderly care for the empty-nest elderly in rural my country increasingly prominent.Under this situation,rural mutual assistance for the aged came into being.It has the advantages of home care and social care,effectively alleviating the need for the elderly in rural empty nests and becoming an innovative and effective strategy to solve the problem of rural care.In view of this,this article is based on the status quo of the old-age security for the empty-nest elderly in the rural areas of Anhui Province,and explores the development of mutual assistance for the elderly in line with the actual situation in the rural areas of Anhui Province.First,starting from the four backgrounds of rural population aging,empty nesting,weakening of traditional family care functions,and the exploration and innovation of mutual assistance in rural areas,the theoretical and practical significance of the research in this article are explained.Based on the relevant research at home and abroad,The research content and methods of this article are determined,the concepts of empty-nest elderly in rural areas,rural elderly care and rural mutual assistance for the elderly are defined,and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,social exchange theory,and active aging theory are described as an analysis and research on rural mutual assistance.The theoretical basis of pension.Secondly,this article adopts the literature method to deeply analyze the current situation and difficulties of the elderly in rural empty nests in Anhui Province from the three aspects of economic income,life care,and spiritual comfort.The main manifestations are low economic ability,insufficient life care and lack of spiritual comfort.It also analyzes the general situation and limitations of the current retirement methods for the empty-nest elderly in rural Anhui Province.In order to improve the current situation of elderly care for the empty-nest elderly in rural Anhui Province,and make up for the limitations of the current elderly care methods,the focus is on the advantages and feasibility of developing mutual assistance for the elderly.Finally,it analyzes the typical practical cases of mutual assistance for the elderly in various rural areas in China,and gains experience and inspiration from it.On this basis,the implementation path and countermeasures of the empty-nest elderly in Anhui Province are proposed.First,adhere to the leadership of the government,strengthen the top-level design of the system,increase financial support,and create a social atmosphere of mutual assistance for the elderly;second,play the leading role of grassroots organizations,explore the practice of mutual assistance for the elderly,carry out mutual assistance for the elderly,and develop the rural economy;Third,mobilize multiple social forces to actively participate,cooperate to help and support each other in the elderly,and expand the volunteer service team;fourth,increase the enthusiasm of the empty-nest elderly in rural areas,cultivate the main consciousness of the emptynest elderly in mutual assistance and support,and encourage the young empty-nest elderly Participate in mutual assistance services for the elderly.
