Study On The Values Contained In The Original Aspiration And The Mission Of Chinese Communists

As General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out,"From Xingye Road to Fuxing Road,all the efforts,struggles and sacrifices made by the Communist Party of China over the past nearly a century have been for the well-being of the people and the rejuvenation of the nation." As an advanced group following the Party’s lead and with the people in mind,Chinese Communists won countless brilliant achievements for the great motherland,the Chinese nation and the Chinese people in holding the original aspiration and the mission on the arduous road of struggle.At the important historical moment when victory in completing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects is in sight and a new journey to fully build a modern socialist country is about to begin,Chinese Communists more needs to be firmly in the heart of the faith to complete more difficult tasks.The original aspiration and the mission is the power of the stream that can always arouse the Communist Party of China to serve the Chinese people and the Chinese nation.However,it should be noted that a small number of people’s problems are becoming more and more obvious in real life,such as corrupt style,wavering ideals and beliefs,willful abuse of power and so on.This is a lack of faith and a violation of the original aspiration and the mission.Therefore,Chinese Communists should regard the practice of the mission as their lifelong tasks,be engraved in their hearts,and embody in their practice.By using the methods of literature research,unifying history and logic and interdisciplinary research,we take the original aspiration and the mission of Chinese Communists as the breakthrough point,dig deeply the content and characteristics of the values behind it,analyze scientifically the important value it contributes to contemporary social development and put forward concrete practical measures for Chinese Communists to carry out the original aspiration and the mission.The research is mainly carried out from the following six parts.The first part is the introduction,which discusses the background and significance of the topic,the research summary at home and abroad,the research content,the research methods,the key and difficult points of the research,the innovation points and shortcomings of the research,as well as the scope and relationship of the original aspiration and the mission.The second part is the theoretical origin,which is mainly discussed from the theoretical exploration of Marxism and the absorption of excellent Chinese culture.In terms of Marxist theory,the communist thought,the mass history view and the proletarian mission view all provide the theoretical basis for the formation of the original aspiration and the mission of Chinese Communists.From the perspective of excellent Chinese culture,excellent traditional culture,revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture are the cultural roots of the original aspiration and the mission of Chinese Communists.The third part is the development process.This part combs the historical development process from three stages: the national salvation period of striving for national independence and people’s liberation,the rejuvenation period of pursuing national development and people’s prosperity,and the powerful country period of seeking national rejuvenation and people’s happiness.The fourth part is the analysis of values.This part puts forward the content of the values:socialism with Chinese characteristics is value following,the ideal faith is value support,the construction of the party is value security,the people are value subject and communism is value goal.And they have the characteristics of lofty ideals and practical success,natural class and thoroughly revolutionary,scientific truth and times innovation.The fifth part is contemporary value.Based on the overall analysis of the first four chapters,this part points out that the original aspiration and the mission of Chinese Communists are the important embodiment of holding high the great banner of Marxism,the spiritual power to motivate Chinese Communists to make unremitting efforts,and the secret of success to keep the advanced nature and purity of the Communist Party of China.The sixth part is practical practice.This part mainly provides specific practical requirements for the practice of Chinese Communists’ original aspiration and the mission from three aspects of “system” “governance” and “wisdom”,respectively: improve China’s system and bring the original aspiration and the mission into the system;strengthen China’s governance and integrate the original aspiration and the mission into the governance process;give full play to China’s wisdom and inject the original aspiration and the mission into practice.In the new era,practicing the original aspiration and the mission is not only a summary of past achievements,but also a value requirement for future struggles.Only by unifying the "study" and "practice" of the original aspiration and the mission in their great struggle journey,and giving full play to the values behind it,can Chinese Communists do well and win the hearts and minds of the people.
