In order to speed up the construction of a new regional development pattern of one core, one belt and one region, the local governments of Guangdong coastal economic zone not only have to take care of the existing administrative pattern, but also avoid the drawbacks of administrative division and make the regional development integrated as effectively as possible, which brings the related governance problems. When the instinct of profit-seeking drives regional governments to pursue their own interests, competition and mutual games among governments are inevitable, and disorderly and excessive competition will affect the overall development of Guangdong coastal economic zone.In this paper, based on the current situation of regional development integration,we explore the ways to manage the disorderly game among local governments in the Guangdong coastal economic zone through combing and analyzing the existing inter-governmental game relations in the Guangdong coastal economic zone by means of literature research, game analysis and case study.By establishing an analytical framework based on game theory,we analyze the current situation of the game in various fields in the Guangdong coastal economic zone and find that there are problems of game disorder, such as the prevalence of local protectionism, the duplication of large-scale infrastructure construction, the prominence of industrial homogenization, and the game based on excessive competition. From the perspective of holistic governance,we analyze the root causes of the disorderly inter-governmental game and explore the path of coordinated governance of the inter-governmental game in the Guangdong coastal economic zone from three aspects: improving the inter-governmental game system, constructing the inter-governmental game mechanism of the Guangdong coastal economic zone and improving the public policy integration mechanism of the Guangdong coastal economic zone,so as to solve the current development dilemma and better serve the Guangdong coastal economic zone.In order to break the current development dilemma and better serve the governmental policy-making and local development of the Guangdong coastal economic zone. |
