As the "Civil Servant System Entrance Examination" policy have been implemented In recent years,a growing number of college graduates chose to join the people’s police team and work as prisons officers,which resulted in an overall improvement on the educational level of the prison police officers.The team structure has undergone fundamental changes.Young prison police officers with university graduates as the main body are becoming the backbone of the people’s prison police force.Their professional status is directly related to the future development of the prison.However,the job burnout that often occurred in middle-aged prison police officers in the past has gradually spread among young prison police officers.Problems such as low job satisfaction,lack of professional identity,and career confusion have become increasingly prominent.The number of resignations and transfers has increased year by year,which directly affects the effectiveness of police resources,and in the long run,it will inevitably affect the realization of prison functions.Reasons for the "job burnout" of young prison police officers vary.From the perspective of management,the system and mechanism of prison management,especially the career management,organization,and intervention of young prison police officers are important ways to solve and prevent job burnout.The academic circles have paid much attention to the research on job burnout of public officials and police officers.The research on police job burnout in our country started in 2004,however,there are relatively few researches on job burnout of prison police officers,especially young officers.Existing studies mainly focus on the qualitative research on the job burnout of prison police from a psychological perspective.However,they have paid less attention to the internal prison management system.This article attempts to explore the generation,elimination and prevention of young prison police officers ’ job burnout from the perspective of organizational operation and management mechanism.Based on S Prison in Hebei Province,using the MBIGS Job Burnout Scale,the author of this essay investigated the level of job burnout of young prison police officers and selects representative cases to conduct in-depth interviews to obtain first-hand information and data,and tried to summarize the specifics of job burnout that was shown by young police officers in S prison.At the same time,the relevant research on the prison operation and management system is carried out,and the basic situation of the job burnout of young prison police officers and the influence of organizational behavior on job burnout are outlined.Finally,based on the actual work of S prison and from the perspective of administrative management,the essay put forward reasonable suggestions on how to solve the problems of job burnout of young prison police officers from three aspects:strengthening prison organizational intervention,building social support systems,and improving the quality of police officers,so as to achieve the goal of exploring and eliminating job burnout of young prison police officers.
