| Teacher training provides support for promoting education reform and the professional level of teachers.With the development of digitalization,online learning brings opportunities and challenges for the development of large-scale teacher training.As the portraits of learners are applied to the field of online education,it is of great practical guiding significance for the learners to portray their portraits in the online learning process.However,the current study lacks an in-depth analysis of the category portraits and learning behaviors of the teacher groups involved in online teacher training.Based on the needs of this research,this study conducted empirical research on the process of participating in online training for teachers from different regions of Sichuan Province,China.Combined the learning analysis data of the online training platform,the cluster analysis is performed on the teacher groups,comprehensively understand the online learning characteristics of different categories of them.Through literature research,clarified online learning,learner portraits,cluster analysis and other related nouns,and combed the current research status at home and abroad from the key variables of learner portraits,the types of learners,and applications.This study collected three types of data,used a variety of data analysis methods to understand the demographic characteristics of the learners and the basic online learning situation,explored the correlation between learners’ learning behavior variables.Then used K-Means clustering algorithm to cluster learners,constructed learner portraits,and visualized the characteristics of learners in each category.The research results show that the teachers in online training can be divided into five categories based on academic performance,browsing behavior and forum interaction.After that,the learner’s portraits are constructed and exported from the three dimensions.According to the research results,from the aspects of academic early warning,push service and personalized teaching strategy,proposing the improvement of online training suggests.This study revealed the category differences and key behavioral characteristics of the teacher groups participating in online training.Relevant conclusions can guide the organizers to better design and implement the curriculum,and further improve the quality and learning experience of online teacher training. |
