In order to solve the problem that social workers still lack of power after receiving professional support, this paper constructs an analytical framework of professional support for empowered social workers.Researchers summarize the existing research literature on professional support, and define that professional support of social workers is external to promote the professional ability and consciousness of social workers,or to promote the smooth implementation of social service projects, and use corresponding disciplines and industry knowledge to take positive measures and provide special assistance to individuals, and divide professional support of social workers into capacity enhancement and project assistance.Help two types.Based on Gutierrez,Parsons and Cox’s(1998)and Lee’s(2001)thought of empowerment level, the empowerment framework of empowermentoriented social workers’ professional support analyses the empowerment content of social workers’ professional support from the perspectives of value belief, collective experience, critical thinking knowledge, action skills and action. The empowerment effect of social workers’ professional support is analyzed from three dimensions: level and social level,in order to determine whether the existing professional support meets the needs of social workers’ rights and abilities, and to explore what kind of professional support social workers need in the process of developing service projects.Social workers’ lack of powers has become an important factor hindering the successful implementation of service projects.Through the practice in Q Town Social Workers Committee in 2018,the researcher understands that Nanhai District has provided a series of professional support for social workers in order to help them carry out community mobilization projects smoothly. However, some problems of insufficient social workers’ power and abilities still exist, and project implementation is still hindered. In view of this phenomenon, the author takes Q town community mobilization project as an example to study whether the existing professional support has met the power needs of social workers, and further explore what kind of professional support social workers need to successfully carry out service projects. In view of the above problems, the researcher collects research data through literature, case and interview methods, and conducts qualitative research using the framework of empowering professional support analysis. The study found that social workers in Q Town Community Mobilization Project received five kinds of professional support for capacity improvement and four kinds of professional support for project assistance. In Q town community mobilization project, social workers in four communities were satisfied with five empowerment factors after receiving professional support, and social workers in two communities were not satisfied with the empowerment factors from professional support. In Q town community mobilization project, the social workers whose five empowerment factors are satisfied can realize the empowerment of individual level, interpersonal level and social level, and the project execution is smooth;the social workers whose five empowerment factors are not satisfied are still unable to realize the three levels of empowerment, and the project execution is hindered.Through the comprehensive analysis of the forms, contents and effects of the existing professional support,it is found that the social worker professional support in Q town community mobilization project exists the dilemma of professional knowledge supply under the background of innovative projects, the dilemma of professional knowledge education under the background of multiple audiences, and the dilemma of professional knowledge localization under the complex social situation.Researchers have proposed that professional support should be given empowering.Based on the above findings, the researcher draws the following conclusions: social workers need the professional support of empowered social workers to meet their power needs and successfully carry out social service projects.
