Pressed flower art,using plants’ original shape,color and texture to express artists’ thoughts is gradually prevalent in our daily life.In the process of making pressed flower crafts,people can naturally acquire plants related knowledge.The value of education is now updating with the pace of the development of today’s society.In the report delivered to the 19 th CPC National Congress,Xi Jinping said the country must give priority to education and promote the coordinated development of compulsory education in urban and rural areas.And fully develop quality education to cultivate all-round socialist successors.Pressed flower art originates from nature,combining botanical knowledge with design,which becomes a prime course for quality education.School education has been valued as the main approach of cultivating students for its comprehensive curriculum design,systematic organization and specific educational objectives.How can we implement pressed flower art course effectively? Accordingly,the paper is based on developing school-based curriculum for press flower art teaching.The research of developing school-based teaching materials for pressed flower art grounds on the teaching practice in Yuangang primary school and Tianfulu primary school.During this period of teaching,the author has read related paper,researched on educational theories and make questionnaire survey,finishing developing a series of teaching materials.The paper will be presented by the following four parts.In the first part,the paper discusses the ideal objectives and analyzes the main research methods basing on the research background of school-based curriculum of primary school.In the second part,the paper deeply and fully researches on “school-based curriculum”and “ the development of school-based curriculum”,making sure the values of the teaching materials.In the direction of knowledge objectives,ability objectives and emotional objectives,the paper also discusses the objectives,specific teaching materials and structures,which lays the theoretical foundation and practical reference for developing teaching materials.The third part talks about the development of teaching materials for primary school pressed flowers art teaching.In this process,the paper summaries the previous teaching experience and materials.Meanwhile,through a questionnaire survey of the 105 students from Tianfulu primary school and Yuangang primary school in Guangzhou,the author attempts to analyze the students’ exception and ideas about the teaching materials.Finally,the teaching materials forms a structure which includes illustrating botanical knowledge,the process of making a pressed flower crafts and discussing about the amazing works.In June 2018,the systematic teaching materials was laid out.The fourth part discusses about the teaching practice in Yuangang primary school.The author has worked as a pressed flower art teacher with the teammates of South China Agriculture University for four semesters,mainly following the teaching materials and trying to cultivate students’ learning interest and aesthetic taste.On the basis of students’ learning desire,the local botanical resources of Guangzhou and the author’s teaching experience,the research develops a systematic teaching materials for pressed flower art teaching in primary school,which functions as supplementary teaching materials for quality education and sets an excellent example for pressed flower teaching in primary school.
