Sports and health courses are of great significance for the implementation of quality education,the cultivation of students ’patriotism and collectivism,and the promotion of students’ moral,intellectual,physical,and aesthetic development.The course follows the guiding ideology of "health first",emphasizes physical exercise as the main method,highlights the student’s dominant position,and focuses on inspiring students’ interest.The application of the hierarchical cooperative teaching method is under this premise,respecting the individual differences of students,focusing on cultivating students’ strong will quality,cooperative spirit and communication ability,and laying the foundation for promoting lifelong participation in physical exercise.In this study,based on the collection of books and literature on layered cooperative teaching and basketball teaching,the experimental method was used to select the students in the two basketball interest classes of the fourth grade of Weifang Wenquan Experimental School as the experimental objects.By implicitly stratifying and classifying the students in the experimental class,which selects the students’ physical fitness,basketball skills,learning interests,affective performance,cooperative spirit and healthy behavior as evaluation indicators,to verify the stratified cooperative teaching method in the primary school basketball interest class Value,Provide valuable suggestions for better promoting the development of school physical education curriculum,optimizing the organizational form of physical education,and meeting the actual needs of students.Research indicates:1.there is no significant difference between the layered cooperative teaching method and traditional teaching in terms of physical fitness effects.The development of the physical fitness of primary school students depends on their own growth and development and the amount of exercise.2.The implementation of the hierarchical cooperative teaching method enhances the awareness of students of different levels to participate in sports,improves the students ’interest in sports learning,emotional performance,cooperative spirit,and healthy behaviors,and effectively promotes the formation of healthy habits and awareness of lifelong exercise,in which sports participation,Focus on the four dimensions of sports,cooperation spirit and healthy behavior,the experimental class scores are better than the control class.3.In terms of training basketball skills,both the layered cooperative teaching method and the traditional teaching method can promote the formation of students’ motor skills,but the layered cooperative teaching method is more effective in passing the layup and reversing the left-hand dribble.4.The hierarchical cooperative teaching method also has certain deficiencies,and the implementation of teaching is affected by factors such as the number of students in class,the content of teaching,and the composition of personnel.
