Research On The Construction Of Curriculum Ldeology And Politics In Shaanxi Universities

General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that we should make good use of classroom teaching in order to do a good job in ideological and political work in universities at the National Conference on December 7th,2016.Also mentioned that all other courses should take their own responsibilities and keep in the same direction with ideological and political course in order to form a synergistic effect.At the same time,he demanded that we must persist in building up morality and in integrating the cultivation and practice of socialist core value into the whole process of education for running a good socialist university with Chinese characteristics.Universities thus started the innovation of Ideological and Political Courses which aims at moral education.The proposal of Curriculum Ideology and Politics provides the new mode of Ideological and political work and talent cultivation in Chinese universities which also enriches both system.Since the conference of Ideological and political education work in universities,we actively innovated not only the theory courses in universities but also the construction of Curriculum Ideology and Politics.We have done a lot of work around the construction and already made some achievements.The research on Curriculum Ideology and Politics in Shaanxi Province will promote its further construction and will play a very important role in strengthening the whole education system.This paper shows the concept of Curriculum Ideology and Politics and analyzes the current situation.Curriculum Ideology and Politics following the guidance of Marxist theory,combining Ideology and Politics education in the whole education system through refining the ideological and political education elements and teasing out the moral education functions contained in all the other courses.This paper states the relationship between "ideological and political course" and "Curriculum Ideology and Politics" from three aspects.Firstly,the consistency of each’s target and mission.Secondly,the harmony of each’s orientation and function.Thirdly,the homogeneity of each’s content and requirement.And discusses their differences from their educational content,role orientation and implementation methods.This paper analyzes the current education system situation through the investigation of Shaanxi universities based on the theoretical analysis of Curriculum Ideology and Politics.The CPC Shaanxi Education Commission paid high attention to the construction of Curriculum Ideology and Politics took the chance of Education quality year to establish the regulation of leaders learning the ideological and political courses.The commission done a series of related documents to strengthen the construction of Curriculum Ideology and Politics and promoted the construction of Curriculum Ideology and Politics through deepening the cognition degree,optimizing the arrangement,detailing the responsibility,strengthen the course system,training more skills and providing the guarantee.Finally built a large range of high quality courses for different levels of educational institutions and elected totally 234 people of class model,skilled and backbone.In 2018,8 teachers in Shaanxi Province were elected as the national university ideological and political course annual influential person which number of winners ranked second in the country.But we also found some problems at the same time which are mainly from the followed four aspects.First is the educators and students do not entirely understand the concept of Curriculum Ideology and Politics either not clear about the current step of the execution of their university.Second is the educators lack of initiative in participating in the construction of Curriculum Ideology and Politics.Third is the problem of combination of the specialized courses and Curriculum Ideology and Politics.Fourth is education effect is not very significant.Based on this we explain the reasons from the universities,educators and students.In terms of these problems,the paper puts forward some suggestions from the aspects of establishing and perfecting the guarantee system of provincial,of universities and of departmental,speeding up the improvement of the Curriculum Ideology and Politics system,and building the team of high-quality educators etc.
