With the development of Internet technology and the expansion of the size of netizens,the advent of the media era marked by Web2.0 has made the crisis of Internet public opinion the most frequent,the most influential region,and the largest number of people.One of the most deprived social crises.In the age of self-media,how to realize the crisis management of Internet public opinion without losing the advantage of information asymmetry has become a hot spot of current research.University public opinion crisis refers to the public opinion situation that may have a negative impact on the school’s image and reputation or negatively affect students in the university public opinion,and it needs to be guided and dealt with urgently.The research on the early warning mechanism of university public opinion crisis events in the environment of the self-media era can broaden the research perspective of university public opinion crisis events and form an early warning system that is suitable for the current stage of the media public opinion crisis in the media environment.For the current crisis of various types of public opinion in colleges and universities,the per-judgment work and the early warning mechanism of the crisis of public opinion are very important.This research uses research methods such as literature method and questionnaire survey method to systematically sort out the research literature on the crisis of online public opinion in colleges and universities in the self-media era.The basic characteristics of online public opinion crisis in colleges and universities and the dual influence of the media era on the public opinion crisis have laid a theoretical foundation for the systematic analysis and exploration of the public opinion crisis warning mechanism.Through questionnaire surveys and analysis,the problems existing in the current early warning mechanism of university public opinion crisis are identified as follows: First,the management system of the Internet public opinion crisis in the media era is incomplete;Second,the construction of the early warning team of the university public opinion crisis in the media era Perfect;Third.The lack of timeliness and continuity in the supervision of online public opinion crises by universities in the self-media era;Fourth.Traditional and single management methods for the crisis of public sentiment in colleges and universities in the self-media era;The main reasons for the above problems are lack of crisis awareness,Fifth,incomplete workforce structure,backward monitoring technology,insufficient management ability,and rigid guidance methods.Aiming at the existing deficiencies,the last part of the article also starts from the guiding ideology and principles,strengthens crisis awareness,improves the construction of colleges and universities public opinion crisis teams,improves the monitoring mechanism of colleges and universities public opinion crisis,improves the management mechanism of colleges and universities public opinion crisis,and improves guidance of colleges and universities public opinion crisis Mechanisms and other aspects have constructed an early warning mechanism for the crisis of public opinion in colleges and universities from the media age.Due to the limited time and personal level,the definition of the research scope of online public opinion crisis in colleges and universities and the establishment of information advantages in the media era need to be further analyzed.The formation of an index system adapted to the actual online public opinion crisis warning mechanism of colleges and universities also requires deeper levels.
