| Since the "Jingpo Lake" conference in 1985,China’s research on higher education evaluation has begun to enter the track.While the evaluation of undergraduate education was increasing,the evaluation of degree and graduate education has begun to appear as well.But for a long period,the evaluation of higher education in China has neglected the education experience of students who are the subjects of education.Evaluations from the perspective of the students which pay attention to their study experience and aim to improve the training process are inevitable requirements of higher education evaluation under the new situation.This study combines the classic foreign study experience questionnaire and its Chinese version,dividing the study experience into five dimensions: the background characteristics of the master of pedagogy,the learning and activity behavior,the organizational and structural characteristics of the faculty,the auxiliary environment provided by school,and the evaluation of the universities and the gains of their own study,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 300 masters of pedagogy in three universities in Yunnan province.The research questions are: what is the actual learning experience of the current Master of Pedagogy,what factors will affect the satisfaction of the graduate students with the school,how about the overall satisfaction of the graduate students for the three years of study,and how to address the problems revealed in the study experience survey with effective and realistic strategies to improve the training process and the quality of postgraduate training.The study found the postgraduates’ satisfaction of the study experience is in a low level.The problems are: easy admission,blind choice of further study,lack professional identity,weak learning motivation;unclear college training program,the setting of professional courses and the level of teaching implementation need to be improved,tutors insufficient guidance;boring public courses,inadequate external support for scientific research,weak research atmosphere,and low service level of administrative departments.In response to the problems exposed in the research,the thesis proposes a realistic strategy to improve the graduate student’s experience: graduate students should deepen their professional understanding,avoid blind choice,cultivate professional interests,and invest in their studies;colleges should explore various entrance examination methods,scientifically set up training programs,and define the core ability,enhance the professional recognition of graduate students,strengthen the effective guidance of the instructors for graduate students,urge graduate students to formulate academic plans,and guide them to carry out active andeffective learning;schools should optimize the research support environment,build a good administrative service system,and provide a good scientific research atmosphere.. |
