Attention is preparation and beginning of all psychological activities.Attention training for students consciously is conducive to the smooth implementation of teaching activities and the development of good learning habits of students.Some scholars have carried out researches on improvement of students’ attention based on physical training,and some scholars have carried out researches on improvement of students’ attention before and in class by using psychological training in mathematics classes.However,at present,there are few centralized training researches on improvement of pupils’ attention with the content of mathematics as the carrier.As early as2017,Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China identified“numerical operation” and “graphic motion” as one of the core contents of mathematics in compulsory education.Based on related researches on “numerical operation” and “graphic motion” in primary mathematics and related theories of attention,test and training,this study carries out the design and practice research of the attention training courses based on numerical operation and graphic motion,so as to provide reference for primary mathematics teachers to improve students’ attention with disciplinary knowledge.This thesis firstly sorts out the related literature of “numerical operation” and“graphic motion” in primary mathematics and attention at home and abroad to confirm the feasibility of attention improvement training for pupils with “numerical operation” and “graphic motion” as the carriers;then studies the basic principles and contents of attention training design,designs 6 attention training based on numerical operation and graphic motion,and selects two classes of Grade 4 in a primary school in Xining for test and training;finally makes a detailed analysis for the experimental data and puts forward some suggestions on the design and implementation of attention training for primary mathematics teachers.It is concluded that: The exercises of “numerical operation” and “graphic motionin elementary mathematic can improve scope,stability,distribution and transfer of attention;The arrangement of attention training shall follow the principles of scientificity,adaptability and development,and the selection of attention training methods shall be targeted and diverse;There are four types of attention training based on “numerical operation” and “graphic motion” in primary mathematics.Among them,the knowledge of numbers and graphs,the operation(mental arithmetic)of integers and other exercises are suitable for improvement training for attention scope,the four mixed operations(written calculation)ofintegers,decimals and fractions,the translation and rotation of graphs and other exercises are suitable for improvement training for attention stability,the number comparison,the unit conversion(listening calculation)and other exercises are suitable for improvement training for attention distribution ability,and the judgment of calculation accuracy with rules,the axisymmetric of graphs and other exercises are suitable for improvement training for attention transfer ability;The experimental data show that the attention level of students can be improved by implementing the attention training courses based on numeral operation and graphic motion,but there is no significant difference in the attention level of students of different genders;Attention training can improve students’ scores in mathematics;Based on the above research,this thesis puts forward some teaching suggestions for elementary mathematics teachers.
