Study On The Influence Of Agricultural Mechanization Development On The Transfer Of Rural Labor Force

The transfer of rural labor is one of the important ways to promote the modernization of agriculture.Transfer of rural labor from rural areas to non-agricultural areas is conducive to promoting the development of urbanization,increasing farmers ’income,making farmers’ lives richer,and rural areas more stable.In the process of promoting the transfer of rural labor,the development of agricultural mechanization has played a very important role.The application of agricultural machinery has released live labor in rural areas,which is conducive to its transfer to non-agricultural employment.This study is based on the relevant data of Yantai City,and aims to evaluate the impact of agricultural machinery development on rural labor transfer in Yantai City.The article first elaborates the theoretical basis and the definition of related concepts,and then through a basic analysis of the process and influencing factors of agricultural labor transfer,the development process and current status of agricultural mechanization,establishes the theoretical basis of the article,and then discusses the mechanism and effects of agricultural mechanization on labor transfer in Yantai City.The theoretical path is elaborated to provide a basis for empirical analysis.Finally,the conclusion is verified and suggestions are made through empirical analysis.Based on the statistical yearbook data from 2005 to 2018 in Yantai urban area and eight other prefecture-level cities,this paper uses the number of agricultural labor transfers as the dependent variable and the number of agricultural tractors as the independent variables.It selects such as per capita GDP,per capita household wage income,per area under crops,total crop yield,and government expenditure were used as control variables in this study.A multiple regression model was constructed to analyze the impact of agricultural mechanization development on agricultural labor transfer.Through empirical analysis,the study found that:(1)the development of agricultural mechanization and the introduction of agricultural machinery will promote the transfer of agricultural labor from agriculture to non-agricultural industries,and the degree of agricultural mechanization development is proportional to the number of agricultural labor transfers;(2)the development of agricultural mechanization The degree of gender impact on agricultural labor transfer is different,and the impact on men is greater than that of women.(3)Due to the differences in geographical factors of different regions,the application of agricultural machinery in the inland areas of Yantai City has a higher effect than the coastal areas.Based on some empirical analysis carried out in this article,this article puts forward guiding suggestions to the relevant agricultural departments of Yantai City,with the intention of further improving the technological level of agricultural machinery in Yantai City,promoting the development of agricultural modernization in Yantai City,in order to further improve the overall strength of the industry and promote industrial optimization.Upgrade and pave the way.
