| In recent years,the education and training industry has developed rapidly in the market.The number of start-up small and micro enterprises involved in the education and training industry has been on the rise continuously,but most of the education and training industries lack the support of more effective business model and develop slowly.Especially for the small and micro start-ups that focus on vocational education to provide services for vocational colleges,due to the actual factors such as market,customers,products,services,resources,etc.,there are defects in the business model from the beginning of their entrepreneurship,leading to serious development constraints.YB company,as a start-up small and micro enterprises focusing on the vocational education industry,has failed to achieve rapid development after nearly nine years of development,and the main business income has declined in recent years.In this point of view,from the perspective of business model,it is an urgent task to examine YB company carefully.Based on the discovery and analysis of the causes of the problems,it is proposed to optimize the business model of YB company and find the direction and way for its rapid development.Although the research on business model has achieved rich results from the aspects of nature,characteristics,elements and evolution.In the practice of using business model research,especially for the small and micro start-ups in the education and training industry,how to effectively select business model and optimize their own business model elements,to promote the stat-ups development rapidly,still lack of useful research and practical experiences.Based on both of the domestic and abroad research results of business model,this paper compares and analyzes several influential business model models,and finds a business model suitable for YB company,namely Weizhu six factor business model.By using the six elements business model of Weizhu to examine the existing business model of YB company.It’s found that the main problems in the existing business model of YB company are the slow expansion of business,the lack of partner resources,the decline of main business income in three years.The main reasons are that,the customers and users are not unified,the source of customers is limited,the lack of standardized replicable products and services,limited expenditure and revenue,lack of strategic investment partners.Then put forward targeted optimization plans for YB company’s positioning,business system,key resource capability,profit model,cash flow structure and enterprise value respectively.With emphasis on redefining YB company’s customers,extending YB company’s external value chain,optimizing customer resources and partner resources,and expanding YB company’s external value chain The company’s income source and revenue and expenditure mode,introduction of external strategic investors,etc.Through the optimization of YB company’s business model to help YB company achieve rapid development.At the same time,this paper also proposes four safeguard measures to ensure the smooth progress of the optimization of the existing business model of YB company.Which are,upgrading the optimization of the business model of YB company to the"top" project,adjusting and optimizing the organizational structure of YB company,establishing an effective market development incentive mechanism,and establishing the internal training system of the company.Hope that this study can provide ideas and experience of business model optimization not only for YB company,but also for other enterprises serving the vocational education industry from both theoretical and practical aspects. |
