Study On The Approval Of College Students With Red Boat Spirit

On June 21,2005,comrade Xi Jinping,then secretary of Zhejiang provincial party committee,published in Guangming daily an important article entitled "carrying forward the spirit of the red boat and walking in the forefront of the times".The article made an incisive exposition of the scientific connotation and the value of the times of the spirit of the red boat.It profoundly pointed out that the pioneering spirit of daring to be the first,the firm ideal,the indomitable fighting spirit,the dedication spirit of establishing the party for the public and being loyal to the people are the source of the Chinese revolutionary spirit and the profound connotation of the red boat spirit.The red boat spirit embodies the CPC’s founding spirit and is the source of the CPC’s revolutionary spirit,which laid a solid foundation for the CPC’s revolutionary spirit history.As college students in the new era,we should also set up lofty ideals and firm beliefs and have the spirit of innovation,struggle and dedication to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.This study discussed the basic concepts and related theories of college students’recognition of red boat spirit,and investigated the current status of college students’recognition of red boat spirit by using questionnaire survey.The results showed that contemporary college students had a certain understanding of red boat spirit,and can relatively and consciously recognize red boat spirit.However,the recognition of the red boat spirit of some college students was not ideal,including deficiencies in cognition,emotion,belief and behavior.This study believes that effective ways to enhance college students’ recognition of red boat spirit can be explored from three aspects:college students themselves,college education and social environment.Then the specific methods can be explored from four aspects:cognition,emotion,belief and behavior.First of all,we should fully utilize the characteristics of college students,strengthen their theoretical study,strengthen their ideals and beliefs,and encourage them to participate in practical activities.Secondly,in terms of college education,it is necessary to combine classroom education with campus culture and practical education,both explicit education and implicit education,so as to strengthen college students’ recognition of the red boat spirit.Finally,in terms of social environment,we should create a good social atmosphere to guide college students’thoughts,and carry out all-round propaganda and education on the red boat spirit from three aspects of family education,media opinion and network thought,so as to strengthen the degree and depth of college students’ recognition of the red boat spirit.
