At present,the research on gender equity in education in China is gradually deepening from starting point equity to process equity.Preschool teachers play an important role in promoting the fairness of preschool education.The gender concept held by adults is related to gender equity teaching,and directly or indirectly affects the achievement motivation and mental health of children of different genders through verbal and non-verbal behaviors.Gender stereotype will affect children’s cognition,emotion,will,behavior,interest and career choice,and also affect children’s physical and mental health,personality building,sexual attitude and social adaptability.Environment has a subtle impact on children’s physical and mental development.This study mainly uses the case analysis method.Based on the field investigation of kindergarten class environment,through observation,interview and other research methods,it collects the cases of gender stereotypes in kindergarten class environment,and deeply explores the impact of gender stereotypes implied in the creation of kindergarten class environment on children Finally,the paper puts forward the corresponding optimization suggestions.Through the observation of kindergarten class environment and interviews with kindergarten teachers,it is found that although teachers hold a "gender neutral" education concept,they can still find that gender stereotype exists in the material and spiritual environment of kindergartens in-depth observation of kindergartens Stereotype,preschool teachers’ stereotyped evaluation of children’s personality,preschool teachers’ educational behavior with gender stereotype,preschool teachers’ role expectations of children of different gender.And children themselves are affected by physiological factors and environmental factors,also formed a certain gender stereotypes.In the past,most of the studies discussed the harm of gender stereotypes to girls,but in the actual observation,researchers found that the harm of gender stereotypes to boys can not be ignored.The reason is that the gender stereotype in the kindergarten class environment is affected by at least four aspects: the influence from the traditional gender culture,the influence from the concept of kindergarten teachers,the influence from the concept of kindergarten management and the influence of children’s own factors.The study found that although children’s physiological genetic gender factors have a certain impact on children’s gender cognitive development and affect children’s gender preference,it is more important to eliminate the inequality of gender development than to debate whether these inequalities exist.What adults should do is to respect children’s nature,face up to children’s development needs,look at problems from children’s perspective,create a suitable,equal and gender equal social environment for children’s free development,respect children’s choice and try to avoid their gender stereotypes when children show behaviors that do not conform to the traditional gender culture characteristics There is interference from the children.Therefore,in order to improve the gender stereotype in kindergarten class environment,teachers need to establish correct gender cognition,kindergarten should establish gender equality class environment,and government departments should guide kindergartens to carry out gender equality education,and work together to build equal and free kindergarten class environment for children. |
