With the development of economy,the demand for talents is gradually increasing,and college students have become the reserve force to be cultivated.Learning burnout is an obstacle that college students must overcome in the academic process.Previous studies have proved that active personality can have an impact on learning burnout,and academic self-efficacy can negatively predict learning burnout.However,few scholars believe that academic self-efficacy can negatively predict learning burnout In order to promote the school and family education to pay more attention to the cultivation and shaping of students’ personality and improve the students’ enthusiasm in learning,this paper discusses the sense of self-efficacy as the intermediary variable of the two.This paper analyzes the influence of college students’ active personality level on learning burnout,and further leads to academic self-efficacy as a mediator variable,and explores the mediating role of academic self-efficacy in active personality and learning burnout.In this paper,510 college students were measured with three scales: Chen Meijun’s college students’ initiative personality survey scale,Liang Yusong’s academic self-efficacy questionnaire and Lian Rong’s college students’ learning burnout scale.Descriptive statistics,independent sample t-test,one-way ANOVA,correlation test and regression test were used,The results show that:(1)College students’ initiative personality is in the upper middle level;there are significant differences in gender,the level of male is higher than that of female;there are significant differences in grade,the level of sophomores is significantly higher than that of the other three grades;there are significant differences in major,the level of science and engineering students is higher than that of literature and history students;there are significant differences in family location,the level of students whose family is located in rural areas is higher than that of students whose family is located in urban areas;there are significant differences in father’s education level,the level of academic self-efficacy of college students whose father is a graduate student is significantly higher than that whose father’s education level is junior senior high school and university,the level of students’ initiative personality is marginal significant on whose father’s education level is junior high school or below and whose father’s education level is master’s degree or doctoral degree;there is no significant difference in the educational level of mothers’ and whether they are the only child or not.(2)College students’ academic self-efficacy is in the upper middle level;there are significant differences in gender,the level of male is higher than that of female;there are significant differences in grade,the level of sophomore is significantly higher than that of the other three grades,and the level of freshman is significantly lower than that of the other three grades;there are significant differences in major,the level of science and engineering students is higher than that of literature and history students;there are significant differences in the education level of their parents,the level of academic self-efficacy of the students whose father is a graduate student is significantly higher than that of the students whose father is a junior high school or below,senior high school and university student,the level of the students’ academic self-efficacy is marginnal significant on whose father’s education level is junior high school or below is and whose father’s education level is senior high school,the level of academic self-efficacy of junior high school students whose mothers are educated is significantly higher than that of senior high school students whose mothers are educated;there is no significant difference in whether they are the only child or not.(3)College students’ learning burnout level is lower than the theoretical median;there are significant differences in gender,the level of male is significantly lower than that of female;there are significant differences in grade,the level of sophomore is significantly lower than that of the other three grades,and the level of freshman is significantly higher than that of the third grade;there are significant differences in major,the level of science and engineering students is lower than that of literature and history students;there are significant differences in grade;there are significant differences in family location,students whose families are located in rural areas have a higher level than those in urban areas;there are significant differences in father’s education level,the level of students whose father’s education level is graduate education is significantly lower than that of students whose father’s education level is senior high school and university,and the level of students whose father’s education level is junior high school or below is significantly lower than that of students whose father’s education level is university school;there is no significant difference in the educational level of mothers’ and whether they are the only child or not.(4)College students’ active personality,academic self-efficacy and learning burnout are correlated;active personality has a significant positive predictive effect on academic self-efficacy,a significant negative predictive effect on learning burnout,and academic self-efficacy has a significant negative predictive effect on learning burnout.(5)College students’ academic self-efficacy plays a mediating role in active personality and learning burnout,and the mediating effect value is 68.58%.
