Embodied learning absorbs the theory of embodied cognition and combines with emerging technologies to develop a variety of learning forms,which has attracted extensive attention from educators and researchers at home and abroad.The support of the technological environment is an extension of the learner’s body,which can help us reproduce or experience specific body experiences and has a great role in promoting the development of embodied learning.However,this also increases the difficulty of the evaluation of embodied learning process.Different from the traditional learning method,learners are more difficult to find the potential problems existing in learning,and then they will lose the motivation of learning.Based on the intelligent evaluation,this paper explores the visualization technology and method of behavior data in embodied learning,to help learners understand their own learning situation,and further promote the learner’s self-reflection and adjustment.First of all,by combing the core ideas of embodied cognition and self-regulated learning,as well as learning dashboard and data visualization analysis technology,this study explores the design process and development steps of data visualization in embodied learning.Then,the design principle is extracted according to the previous research and viewpoint.Finally,this study summarizes the visualization evaluation criteria by analyzing the evaluation methods of data visualization and learning dashboard.In addition,through literature review,this paper sorts out data visualization indicators for embodied learning.15 students were recruited to participate in the user research,using card sorting method,to select and analyze the data visualization indicators in embodied learning.Then,combined with the students’ demand for data visualization indicators,this paper,taking the " Esperanto Vocabulary Learning" course as an example,realizes an embodied learning system based on gesture interaction,as well as a supporting data visualization analysis tool for learning behavior in embodied learning-learning dashboard.In order to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the data visualization method of learning behavior in embodied learning,this study designed and implemented an embodied learning system based on gesture interaction,and implemented the supporting data visualization tool--learning dashboard for embodied learning based on xAPI standard.On the basis of this system,taking "Esperanto vocabulary learning" course as an example,the study verifies the function,usability and learnability of this learning dashboard.The study recruited 30 participants to participate in a single pre and post-test,and the participants before and after the use of the learning dashboard test performance,reflective thinking and other factors were compared and analyzed.The experimental results show that the learning dashboard can improve learners’ performance in embodied learning and promote learners’ reflection.The study also found that the learning dashboard can help learners adjust their learning strategies in the process of embodied learning,and improve their willingness and enthusiasm for learning.In this study,learning dashboard was used as the carrier to explore the visualization analysis techniques and methods of behavioral data in embodied learning,and it is expected to provide some theoretical reference and practical reference for future research.
