| The standard of geography curriculum for senior high school(2017 Edition)further defines the requirements for the wide application of geographic information technology in geography teaching.It not only adds the content of relevant courses of geographic information technology in compulsory and elective courses,promotes students to master the concept,function,application field and other theoretical knowledge of geographic information technology,but also requires students to have a good understanding of geographic information technology In order to stimulate students’ interest and exploration desire,teachers can use geographic information technology to create a more intuitive and efficient classroom,and change passive learning into active learning.Because the content of physical geography module is more abstract and complex,students need to have a certain spatial thinking foundation,so the teaching should grasp the actual trend of students,with the help of geographic information technology related software to help students break through the understanding of key and difficult points.Geographic information technology can cultivate students’ geographical core literacy such as geographical practice,regional cognition and comprehensive thinking,and it is also an effective way to realize quality education and lifelong development education.First of all,through reading a lot of relevant literature,this paper understands the development status and trend of the integration of geographic information technology and geography teaching.Secondly,through the questionnaire to understand the status quo of teachers and students’ cognition and operation of geographic information technology,teachers’ cognition and practice of applying geographic information technology to teaching,students’ expectation of applying geographic information technology to teaching,and the reasons why teachers and students think the integration of geographic information technology and teaching is hindered.The results of the questionnaire show that the obstacles leading to the implementation of geographic information technology in the classroom are the lack of school hardware support,the lack of teachers’ relevant skills,the limited classroom time and the inability to complete the teaching progress.Based on this,the author uses the relevant software which is easy for students and teachers to learn and operate to design the teaching of more abstract and complex topics in physical geography,mainly including the teaching design of students’ independent practice based on Google Earth software,the teaching design of thematic map making based on Sufer software,and the teaching design of dynamic meteorological evolution based on meteoearth and nullschool software.Secondly,the application of geographic information technology in the implementation of classroom teaching classes to take quantitative and qualitative tests,concluded that the application of geographic information technology software in teaching effect is better than the traditional teaching methods,and through the comparative analysis of the results,there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the general class,the use of geographic information technology teaching can effectively help students improve their performance High academic performance.Finally,combined with the research of this paper,a series of optimization measures are put forward for the application of geographic information technology in teaching. |
