| Women,who are the mainstay of reproduction and family care,are also "half the sky" when it comes to economic and social development.But in reality,because of the process of raising children,the females are shouldering the main responsibility,especially under the universal two-child policy,women may pay more attention to raising children,thus reducing the degree of job involvement,causing the employment discrimination,which were not favorable to the development of women,and to some extent,limits the women’s participation in economic and social development.From the female equal employment problems under the universal two-child policy,based on related review,this paper expounds the public service interruption,equilibrium,policy,social gender discrimination,human capital,preference related theory,taking ordinary staff and management personnel,the fresh graduate female college students,underemployed women in Yubei District,Chongqing as objects,this paper carries out the questionnaire survey among the management experts,enterprises and institutions on the universal two-child policy,employment opportunities,the second child of childbearing willing pay,etc.,which reveals the problems and challenges faced by women in equal employment under the universal two-child policy.The research shows that under the universal two-child policy,it is difficult for women to obtain employment on an equal footing,which is mainly affected by employers’ insufficient understanding of the policy,imperfect laws,regulations and supporting policies,inadequate public services,women’s weak understanding of themselves,and insufficient social tolerance.It is unfair for women and their families to adjust themselves more by lowering their wage demands or giving up the job to return to the family.The research also shows that it is very important and necessary to actively protect women’s reproductive rights and equal employment rights.Based on analyzing the problems and influence from the individual unit of choose and employ persons,the relevant government departments,social relevant stakeholders and their own individual,etc.,the paper puts forward some targeted opinions and suggestions,such as introducing better laws and regulations,strengthening policy implementation,and introducing policies to subsidize the cost of hiring female employees,enhancing public service input,strengthening the cultivation of female professional competence and accomplishment,and creating a good public opinion atmosphere.It is hoped to promote equal employment opportunities for women under the universial two-child policy and increase their sense of happiness and security.We will actively help the government establishing and improving the public service policy of equal employment for women under the universal two-child policy. |
