The rapid development of information technology has brought about new changes in the field of education. The Ministry of Education proposed that the implementation of education informatization should be comprehensively promoted to promote the all-round integration of information technology and subject teaching.Micro-classes have clear themes, short focus, and flexible application time.Introducing them into junior high school mental health teaching can not only help optimize the teaching effect of mental health classes, better implement the development of mental health education, but also cultivate students’ ability to use information technology to learn independently.Ability and habits. However, the time for micro-classes is short. How to stimulate and maintain the motivation of students to learn microclasses and make them gain something in the limited time is an important issue that should be considered when designing micro-classes.This study introduces the ARCS motivation model to guide the design of mental health micro-classes,and hopes that its motivational strategies can help improve the application effect of mental health micro-classes.This research uses the literature research method, interview method, questionnaire survey method, and content analysis method.First of all,the literature research method is used to sort out the current situation of ARCS and micro-course related theoretical research.Secondly, through interviews and questionnaires,we investigated the current status of the use of mental health micro-classes in junior high schools. The analysis results show that there are two main reasons why junior high school mental health teachers use micro-classes less frequently in teaching:First, the resources and content of mental health micro-classes Not attractive enough, students are not motivated to watch;secondly, the teacher’s own design of micro-classes lacks design strategies for reference, and the design ideas are not clear. Then through the content analysis method, the excellent mental health micro-class cases are coded and analyzed, and the characteristics of the motivation strategies used therein are summarized,so as to provide clear and referenceable motivational strategies for teachers to design micro-classes in the future. Finally, the principles and process of mental health micro-class design based on the ARCS motivation model are proposed.Under its guidance,a micro-class case is designed based on the content of the junior middle school mental health curriculum-the "emotion" module, and the motivation is investigated in the form of interviews and questionnaires.effect.The analysis of the practical effects of the micro-classes shows that the mental health micro-classes designed based on the ARCS motivation model can effectively stimulate and maintain students’ interest in watching learning, and make students feel helpful to themselves. |
