As an important topic, the aggressive behavior of junior high school students has attracted extensive attention from the media. In educational practice, teachers often find that children’s aggressiveness is related to parental psychological control, and they are unable to change it.This research attempts to find ways to intervene in the aggressive behavior of junior high school students whose parental psychological control is difficult to influence. Many studies at home and abroad have shown that parental psychological control has a significant predictive effect on hostile attribution bias. The more hostile attribution biases the junior high school students hold, the more aggressive behaviors they will have. However,it is controversial about the mediating effect of hostile attribution bias in parental mental control on reactive and active aggression. Therefore, this study first explores how hostile attribution bias plays a mediating role in the influence of parental psychological control on reactive and active aggression, and then a group counseling is designed to intervene the hostile attribution bias to reduce the aggressive behavior. The first study selected 341 students from a junior high school in Qingdao as the subjects.A questionnaire survey method was employed to collect data from each class to measure parental psychological control, hostile attribution bias and aggressive behavior(reactive aggression and active aggression). The data were analyzed by SPSS,and the study found that:(1)Parental psychological control, hostile attribution bias, and reactive aggression, active aggression are significantly related to each other.(2)Hostile attribution bias plays a mediating role in the influence of parental psychological control on reactive aggression. The second study developed a group counseling program that interfered with hostile attribution bias, trying to reduce reactive aggressive behavior. The group counseling was held once a week,a total of 8 times,1.5 hours each time. The participants were divided into a control group and an experimental group, with the former one receiving group counseling, the second one not. Before and after the experiment, the research found that the group counseling program that interfered with the hostile attribution bias was effective in reducing the reactive aggressive behavior of junior high school students.Based on two studies, this paper provides educational suggestions for reducing the aggressive behavior of junior high school students.Parents of junior high school students should be aware of the impact of parental psychological control on their children’s aggression and pay attention to the relationship between parental control and their children’ s independent consciousness. For teachers who are looking for ways to deal with the aggression of junior high school students, they should first distinguish the types of attacks, and then deal with them in different ways. When parental psychological control intervention is difficult, teachers can reduce the students’ reactive aggressive behavior by reduce the students’ hostile attribution bias. For psychological teachers, they can reduce reactive aggressive behaviors by developing group counseling that interferes with hostile attribution bias.
