In the context of the new era of emphasizing "health first" and "lifelong sports",the state has put forward new goals and requirements for school sports.Physical education teachers are given new missions and tasks,with great responsibilities and far-reaching significance.At the beginning of their professional career,newly recruited physical education teachers face a new situation of identity role change,cultural field change,and the collision of theory and practice.At the same time,they are burdened with the double pressure of education reform and professional adaptation,which makes them face more challenges and more complex.Every year in our country,a large number of new physical education teachers enter their jobs.Their professional adaptation and professional development are related to the effectiveness of the school physical education curriculum reform.Therefore,more care and attention should be given to the group of newly recruited physical education teachers to help them quickly complete the transformation of their status and roles,overcome various discomforts in the initial stage of employment,and achieve their professional development is very urgent.Relevant research shows that teaching efficacy,professional identity and work commitment are the key factors that promote the professional adaptation and professional development of newly recruited physical education teachers.Newly recruited physical education teachers are in the early stage of their professional careers,and their behavioral characteristics in terms of teaching efficacy,professional identity and work engagement are different from teachers in other stages.In view of this,this research takes newly recruited physical education teachers as the research object,combs the domestic and foreign literature on teaching efficacy,professional identity and work engagement,initially establishes the relationship model of the three,and proposes corresponding research hypotheses.Using "Teaching Efficacy Scale","Teacher Occupational Identity Scale" and "Work Involvement Scale",231 newly recruited physical education teachers in the three provinces of Hubei,Hunan and central Henan were surveyed in 3 years.Explore the impact of teaching efficacy on the work input of newly recruited physical education teachers,and the mediating role of professional identity in it,explain and describe,analyze and verify the characteristics and path relationships of various variables,in order to have a clearer and deeper understanding of the teaching of newly recruited physical education teachers The behavioral characteristics and influence mechanism of efficacy,professional identity and work engagement provide a reference for the promotion of professional adaptation and professional development of newly recruited physical education teachers.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The teaching efficacy,professional identity,and work engagement of newly recruited physical education teachers are generally at the upper-middle level,and present differences in the individual characteristics of teachers such as gender,labor relations,salary income,and school location.(2)The teaching efficacy and professional identity of newly recruited physical education teachers can significantly positively predict work input.At the same time,there are positive predictive effects on the three representations of vitality,dedication,and focus.Relatively speaking,teaching efficacy and occupation Identity has a greater impact on the vitality representation of teachers’ work engagement;in addition,the teaching efficacy of newly recruited physical education teachers can significantly positively predict professional identity.(3)The professional identity of newly recruited physical education teachers plays a part of the intermediary role between teaching efficacy and work input,that is,teaching efficacy can directly affect work input,and at the same time,it can have an indirect effect on work input through professional identification.There are two paths,direct and indirect.
