In the teaching of mathematics in primary schools, students can learn to find and raise problems from the perspective of mathematics. It is one of the important goals of the mathematics curriculum in compulsory education to be able to use mathematics knowledge to solve practical problems and enhance application awareness.Under the current wave of new mathematics curriculum reform, how to improve the mathematics problem solving ability of high school students in rural primary schools according to the layout characteristics of mathematics textbooks, the new characteristics of students’ physical and mental development in high school, and the unevenness of rural primary school students. It is imminent. The text is based on the 5th and 6th grade mathematics textbooks of the PEP,and the N elementary school in the rural areas of Jiande is used as a case to conduct a more comprehensive study on the ability of teachers and students to solve problems. In his daily education and teaching practice,he focuses on the use of literature research methods, survey methods, and work analysis methods to collect student class performance, homework corrections, test feedback, individual interviews. The performance of the classroom, and then analyze the current situation and problems of the problem-solving ability of the high school students in the rural areas.According to the theoretical analysis and research, the author investigates the influencing factors of the status quo of problem solving ability of high school students in rural primary schools, and explores effective strategies and measures to improve the problem-solving ability of high school students in rural primary schools through school attention, teachers and students and students. The paper is divided into the following six parts:The first part: Introduction.Discuss the research background, purpose and significance of the paper. The main research contents of this paper are clarified, and the methods, ideas and innovations of the research are introduced.Part II:Defining relevant concepts of research, combing relevant literature at home and abroad and making a brief review. The third part: a practical investigation of the ability of students in N high school to solve problems.Mainly from the understanding of the teaching status of N primary school, through classroom observation, questionnaires, interviews and tests to understand the five-six students’ understanding of problem-solving and problemsolving skills. The fourth part: Analysis of the factors affecting the ability of students in rural high school to solve problems.According to the survey results, the problems reflected by the teachers in cultivating students’ problem-solving ability and the subjective and objective factors that students appear in solving problems are analyzed and organized. The fifth part: Practical exploration to improve the problem-solving ability of senior students in rural primary schools.Through the establishment of rural elementary school evening care services, changing the education concept of rural educators, improving students ’problem understanding ability, train students in mathematical strategic thinking, strengthening students’ mathematical calculations and mathematical language expressions, strengthening student inspection and reflection, conducting small class teaching in rural schools, etc.Mathematics problem-solving abilities of senior students in rural primary schools.Part VI: Conclusion.Including the conclusions of the research, the shortcomings in the research and the outlook. Is there a significant difference in solving mathematical problems between high school students in rural primary schools and high school students in urban primary schools? After the implementation of relevant strategic measures, what are the immediate effects and delay effects? Further empirical research is needed.
