Improving the teaching level of teachers is the main way to improve the quality level of secondary vocational schools,but also the key measures to achieve high quality development of secondary vocational education.At present,China is actively building a new pattern of development that both domestic and international cycles promote each other,and it is urgently need of cultivating a group of high-quality talents in finance,economics and business.To improve the quality of finance and business talents training in secondary vocational schools,it has become an important issue that needs to be solved.This thesis confirms that,based on the idea that students have the best say in teachers’ teaching quality,Students’ Evaluation of Teachers plays an important role in promoting teachers’ teaching improvement.However,the cognition of whether students’ evaluation of teaching in secondary vocational schools has promoted teachers’ teaching improvement is not uniform,which directly affects the promotion of students’ evaluation of teaching in teachers’ teaching improvement,and then affects the improvement of education quality in secondary vocational schools.This study adopts case study method to investigate and analyze the current situation of student evaluation of teachers,teaching improvement and evaluation to promote reform in L secondary vocational schools in Hebei Province.The survey found that L secondary vocational schools take student evaluation of teachers as a widely used way of evaluation of teaching.Because the results of teaching evaluation are not made public to all teachers and students,teachers are lack of motivation in teaching improvement,so that student evaluation of teaching fails to play a role in promoting teachers teaching improvement,and the intensity of teaching improvement is insufficient.This thesis confirms that there are three problems in promoting teaching improvement by students’ Evaluation of Teachers for finance and business majors in L secondary vocational school(promoting reform by evaluation).The existing problems of students’ Evaluation of Teachers are as follows: the procedure lacks of standardization;The questionnaire lacks authority;Indicators lack professionalism;The activity lacks objectivity.The existing problems of teaching improvement are as follows: the service object of improvement is vague;Motivation needs to be strengthened;Evidence based is not strong enough;The method remains to be determined;Time still needs to be timely;The practice still needs to be advanced.The problems of evaluation to promote reform are: lack of cohesion,credibility and adequacy.This thesis puts forward three suggestions.First,the school level,should improve the evaluation of teaching indicators;Standardize the teaching evaluation procedure;Improving the way of teaching evaluation;Improve the teaching evaluation questionnaire.Second,teachers should improve their cognition of students’ Evaluation of Teachers.Strengthen teachers’ self-conscious action of teaching improvement;Using teaching evaluation results to improve teaching weaknesses;To improve the application ability of the results of students’ Evaluation of Teachers;It has become a normal state to promote teaching reform through evaluation.Third,the student level: to mobilize the enthusiasm of students to participate in the evaluation of teaching;To improve the initiative of students to participate in teaching evaluation;To cultivate students’ sense of responsibility in participating in teaching evaluation.
