Today, with the continuous development of modernization, higher education,as the main channel of cultivating excellent talents, undertakes the important mission of national development. As a big country of graduate students, the quality of graduate students has become the focus in the field of education research. With the growing number of graduate students, the number of interdisciplinary background postgraduates is also increasing,so the quality of training can not be ignored. As an important index to measure the quality of training, learning outcome plays a key role in improving the quality of interdisciplinary background postgraduates. Therefore,it is very necessary to study the learning outcome of interdisciplinary background postgraduates.Based on the Bloom’s theory of "classification of educational objectives",this paper analyzes the current situation of interdisciplinary background postgraduates’ learning outcome from three dimensions of cognition, skill and affective values by using the "postgraduates’ learning outcome questionnaire" as the main research tool and interview method, and compares the learning outcome of interdisciplinary background postgraduates with different grades, genders, majors and non interdisciplinary backgrounds postgraduates In order to find out the existing problems.and at the same time, using the IEO model to probe deeply into its influencing factors, and put forward the way to improve it.This paper draws the following conclusions through research:The overall performance of interdisciplinary background postgraduates’ learning outcome is average,in the medium level. The students performed better in the dimensions of skill and emotional value, and worse in the cognition dimensions. There are no significant differences in grade, gender and major, but there are differences in cognitive dimensions.Compared with non interdisciplinary background postgraduates, there are no significant differences in general, but there are significant differences in cognitive dimension. The problems of interdisciplinary background postgraduates’ learning outcome are: the basic knowledge literacy is weak;the comprehensive problem-solving ability is weak;the relative skill level of study and research is low;the lack of communication and exchange;the lack of enthusiasm for learning, low interest;learning attitude is not positive enough and lack of a pragmatic scientific attitude.Through the analysis of the problem of learning outcome, the factors that affect the learning outcome of interdisciplinary background postgraduates are: lack of internal learning motivation, lack of understanding and identification of the interdisciplinary subjects, psychological pressure, learning stereotype,teacher-student interaction, curriculum and attention to the interdisciplinary students.Based on the problems of interdisciplinary background postgraduates’ learning outcome, this paper puts forward seven suggestions: first,to understand self-demand,correct learning attitude;second,to ease psychological pressure, establish self-confidence;third,to stimulate learning interest and cultivate internal motivation;fourth,to guide students to give full play to their own advantages and learn to "transfer correctly";fifth,to strengthen the communication between teachers and students and improve the tutor guidance model;sixth,to optimize the curriculum system according to the characteristics of interdisciplinary postgraduates;seventh,to create an appropriate learning environment, improve the attention of interdisciplinary students. |
