In recent years,the development of educational informatization is growing under the promotion of information technology,but the development of educational technology discipline is unsatisfactory and facing a huge challenge.At present,the problem that needs to be thought and solved is how to train the high-quality comprehensive educational technical talents to meet the social needs.Researchers have found that design is ubiquitous in educational technology when they explore how technology supports education and teaching.Then design thinking has gradually attracted the attention of educational researchers.However,there are still few researches on design thinking in education field in China and there are also few researches on the development of design thinking of educational technology students.Therefore,it is of great value and significance to research on cultivating students’ design thinking according to the characteristics of educational technology students and the demands of their majors.By analyzing the development status and existing problems of educational technology,taking the course “Robot Programming” as the example,we built a teaching model for cultivating the design thinking of educational technology students and developed corresponding “the online learning platform of Robot Programming”,which combined the project-based learning method with the EDIPT design thinking model of Stanford University.The teaching model includes four learning phases: Basic knowledge,Cultivation of design thinking based on project-based learning,Learning of curriculum design for design thinking,and Evaluation and reflection.The cultivating phase of design thinking based on project-based learning allow students to gain design thinking through project collaboration.During the learning phase of curriculum design for design thinking,students should look on themselves as the teacher and design classroom teaching based on design thinking to master the method and process of cultivating the design thinking of their students and promote learning by teaching.Finally,educational technology students from XX Normal University were selected as the teaching objects for a semester of teaching practice which combined online learning on “the online learning platform of Robot Programming” with the classroom learning.From the difference analysis of teaching effect,this research found that teaching model,which combined the project-based learning method with the EDIPT design thinking model of Stanford University,not only helps to cultivate the problem solving ability and design thinking of students,but also helps students learn to use the design thinking model for curriculum design.It enables students to become future teachers who are good at cultivating students’ design thinking.
