| Working memory is one of the most important factors to affect the learning ability.Our research shows that working memory is plastic,so it can be improved through training,and the positive effects can migrate from ability of working memory updating to Chinese academic.Methods: This study explores the relationship between children’s working memory updating ability and their academic achievement in Chinese and mathematics,and through working memory updating training to improve students’ Chinese and mathematics learning ability and academic performance.We use the working memory updating task to train 3to5 grade students,about 20 minutes a day,30 days,11 grade three students,12 grade four students,16 grade five students,control group number is the same as training group.The results show that training group’s working memory updating has been significantly improved.And training effect can be transformed into the improvement of the third and fourth grade students’ Chinese academic achievement. |
