A Comparative Analysis Of Technical Characteristics Of Asian Elite Badminton Women’s Singles Athletes

In order to cope with the upcoming 2021 Tokyo Olympics,the Chinese badminton team will need to make great efforts to win the women’s singles event.Three players from Asia: TAI Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei,ranked No.1in the world,and No.3 in the world,the Japanese player Akane Yamaguchi and the fourth Okuhara hope are the main competitors of the Chinese players in the Olympics.Therefore,the statistical and comparative analysis of the technical use of outstanding Asian badminton women’s singles has important practical significance.This article mainly uses video observation methods and mathematical statistics to challenge the four outstanding Asian women’s singles players TAI Tzu Ying,Chen Yufei,Yamaguchi Akane and Okuhara Hope in the finals and semi-finals of the 20 47-round international competitions that participated in2019.Research on ball skills,comparative analysis of four outstanding women’s singles players’ serving and receiving techniques,different field hitting techniques,differences in winning and losing points,and the correlation between winning and losing points and the score results,and the following conclusions are drawn:1.The scores of the four Asian elite women’s singles badminton players are greatly influenced by the scores of the front court technique and the back court technique: the frontcourt is rubbing and picking skills,and the backcourt is smashing skills.2.TAI Tzu Ying’s serves mainly in front of the backhand net,the front court is mainly used in front of the control net,and the back court is mainly used after the reception.The frontcourt uses various techniques more evenly,and scores more on hooks and pushes;the midfield mainly uses catches and blocks;the backcourt mainly relies on lobs and smashes to score.3.Chen Yufei serves mainly forehand high ball,with backhand serving before the net;the frontcourt mainly uses picking and rubbing techniques,and the backcourt mainly uses high and smashing.In the full-court technique,the frontcourt is used to pick the ball.The ball has high unforced errors,high scores for rubbing and putting;high rate of scoring in midfield draws and blocking techniques;strong ability to win in the backcourt.4.Akane Yamaguchi’s midfield technique is related to the result of the score.Serving uses a combination of forehand serving high and backhand serving before the net;picking and rubbing are the main techniques to deal with the frontcourt serve,and the main technique for serving the backcourt is to kill the ball;the frontcourt rubbing technique is in a four-man midgame The average number is the highest.The midfield has a high rate of loss of points for the midfielder’s draw,catch and block technique and backcourt technique.5.The technical characteristics of Okuhara Hope are distinctly unique compared to the other three players.Serving almost only uses forehand to serve high and long shots;the frontcourt is mainly used to pick the ball,and the backcourt mainly uses the high ball;in the full-court technique,the frontcourt is mainly to pick the ball;midfield defense is also used to picking the ball;The backcourt mainly uses high ball and dribbling;he has fewer unforced errors,but his scoring ability is poor.The suggestions are as follows:1.The pace of women’s singles matches is now faster than before,with emphasis on technical training in the front and back courts.Chinese women’s singles athletes should strengthen their smashing practice,combining light and heavy,fast and slow,to improve their scoring ability.2.Faced with such a comprehensive and flexible player as TAI Tzu Ying,she should reduce the use of picking,pay attention to protecting the front of the net,and improve the quality of rubbing.And to reduce one’s own unforced mistakes and enhance the stability of the audience’s technique.3.Chen Yu fei should reduce the use of picking techniques in the frontcourt,increase the use of rubbing techniques,and reduce his own unforced errors.At the same time,the backcourt should enhance the ability to continuously attack and improve the stability of the ball.4.Against Akane Yamaguchi,it is recommended to grab the net more to maintain pressure,use her weak defensive midfielder,to catch the return of the ball and improve the offensive effect.5.In the face of Okuhara’s hopes,he should reduce his own mistakes,attach importance to the training of multiple shots,strengthen the stability in the multiple shots,and have the ability to score after multiple shots.It is recommended to choose men’s singles athletes as sparring partners to increase the speed of movement and speed up the rhythm of the game.
