In recent years,marathon events have ushered in rapid development,the number of events held has increased exponentially,and the competitiveness of related consumer industries has continued to increase.But at the same time,the phenomenon of homogeneity and fast food has appeared in the competition,which hinders the construction of the competition brand.With the advent of the experience economy era,event practitioners have begun to pay attention to runners’ experience,understand runners’ feelings based on runners’ evaluations,and optimize events to build event brands.The track is an element of the competition scene,which has a certain impact on the runner’s experience.This research takes the race track as the starting point for research,with a view to optimizing the runner experience,enhancing the reputation of the event,and establishing the brand of the event.Refine the theme and find the logic of the track experience through the runners’ comments and comments on the race.Use this as a basis for track optimization.The selected events are divided into two parts,one is the AIMS certified event;the other is the CAA certified most beautiful marathon track event.A total of 53 events in total.A qualitative study was conducted by selecting relevant data such as runner comments,runner notes,and race route maps through the Internet platform to construct a three-level code.The open code extracted a total of 62 initial concepts and classified them into 28 initial categories.In,the main axis coding generates 6 main categories,and finally uses "the marathon track experience logic from the runner’s perspective" as the core category to summarize all the concepts.Based on this,a marathon runner’s track experience model was established,and the model was verified with the Beijing Marathon.Finally,suggestions for track optimization are put forward: 1.Customize the theme of the track in combination with the image of the city;2.Pay attention to track related publicity work;3.Enrich events and create track atmosphere;4.Update and optimize the track according to the runner’s feedback;5.Standardize the track supervision and management;6.Establish an interactive exchange platform for track experience.
