| With the development of economic globalization, higher education is also showing the trend of globalization. In this context, more and more students choose to study abroad for the purpose of broadening their horizons or obtaining a relatively better employment prospect.Of course,in terms of the overall economic background, the cost of studying abroad is much higher than that of most domestic schools. The monthly income of the families who can afford these costs are usually above the average level.Of course, the degree level of going out to study also shows diversity, some go for high school education, some for undergraduate study, some for master’s degree, and some for doctoral degree. As far as the students I contacted, most of them go abroad for postgraduate studies, and some go for undergraduate studies. These students account for a certain proportion of the entire students who are going to study abroad.Compared with other students preparing for exams, they are currently studying in high school, which is a period with high academic pressure in China. They need to combine both high school study and these exams required for studying abroad.Their test pressure is relatively high.At present, most of the domestic researches on examination pressure focus on ordinary junior and senior high school students, and few of them are involved in this group,so this study takes these students as the research object.Through investigating the relationship between parental rearing styles, psychological resilience and test anxiety of high school preparatory students to explore the factors that affect test anxiety, providing some reference and inspiration for the mental health education of these students, expanding the current research group on test anxiety and enriching the theoretical research results of mental health education. In this study, questionnaire surveys were used to collect data from high school preparatory students from several international high schools in Beijing, and data was processed using SPSS22.0.The current situation of parenting styles, psychological flexibility, and test anxiety of these students preparing for studying abroad was examined. The results obtained are consistent with the research hypotheses. The results are as follows:1.Parental rearing styles and psychological elasticity of these students preparing for studying abroad, both have significant differences in birthplace, whether they are only children, and parents’ educational level respectively.2.There are significant correlations among parenting methods, psychological resilience and test anxiety of high school students preparing for international study. There is a significant negative correlation between parent’s emotional warmth with test anxiety. The excessive interference, refused protection and overprotection of father with test anxiety have a significant positive correlation. The mother’s excessive intervention, refused protection and excessive protection have a significant positive correlation with test anxiety.Mental resilience has a significant predictive effect on test anxiety, with an explanation rate of19.4%.3.The test anxiety results of high school preparatory students showed that 56.8% of these students clearly feel a considerable degree of discomfort caused by test pressure.4.Psychological resilience has a significant intermediary effect on test anxiety and father’s emotional warmth, excessive interference and denial. The mediating effect of psychological resilience on the mother’s warm understanding dimension and test anxiety is significant. |
