The year 2019 marks the 70 th anniversary of the founding of New China.In the past few decades,China’s economy has developed rapidly after a series of major events such as reform and opening up,accession to the WTO,and the establishment of a free trade pilot zone.Companies in our country are also developing rapidly in this good economic environment.The overall quality of the company has been improved.The company is willing to go,and at the same time,is required by the society to assume more social responsibilities.At present,companies choose to assume one of the main forms of social responsibility,which is charitable donation.Therefore,this article will construct a panel fixed effect model and use the charitable donation panel data of company between 2014 and 2018 to empirically study the vertical spillover effects of corporate charitable donations in the supply chain.that is,a company’s charitable donations will be affected.How does the level of charitable donations of upstream and downstream companies in its supply chain affect? And based on the theory of social learning and social competition,it studies the formation mechanism of corporate charitable donations in the supply chain.Finally,from the perspective of social learning and social competition,it studies the influence path of corporate charitable donations.The study founds(1)The charitable donation behavior of enterprises will be significantly positively affected by the level of charitable donations of upstream and downstream companies in their supply chain.(2)Companies with information advantages in the market are more susceptible to their charitable donation behaviors by the average level of charitable donations of upstream and downstream companies.(3)Compared with companies that indirectly contact consumer products,companies that directly contact consumer products are more likely to be affected.(4)compared with companies with international business cooperation,companies without international business cooperation are more likely to be affected by the average level of upstream and downstream charitable donations.(5)Corporate charitable donations have a Imitate inside first and then outside law and parallel transmission law in the path of influence on the supply chain.
