Research On The Coordinated Development Of Industrial Structure And Employment Structure In Henan Province

The industrial structure and employment structure of a country or region are closely related to each other.In the process of economic development,the industrial structure is constantly adjusted under the influence of national development strategy,production factors and technical level.The new industrial structure promotes the transfer of labor force between different industrial sectors.In this process,there is often a mismatch between employment structure and industrial structure,that is,there is disharmony between the two.The industrial structure reflects the economic development mode of a region,and employment is the foundation of people’s livelihood.The coordinated development of the two can promote the stable economic growth of the region and ensure full employment.In 2020,the GDP of Henan Province ranks fifth in China and is an important economy in the central region.As a populous and agricultural province,Henan Province has made a series of economic development achievements since the reform and opening up.At the same time,it has also exposed some problems,such as slow upgrading of industrial structure,lagging development of employment structure,excessive rural labor force and so on.In the crucial period of China’s economic transformation to the high-quality development stage,it is of great significance to study the coordinated development of industrial structure and employment structure in Henan Province,analyze the influencing factors affecting their coordinated development,and put forward targeted suggestions to promote the healthy economic and social development of Henan Province.On the basis of combing the relevant theories and literature in this field,this paper analyzes the development process of industrial structure and employment structure in Henan Province since the reform and opening up.The data show that their proportional structure has been upgraded to a certain extent,but their coordination is poor.Then,three methods of correlation coefficient,structural deviation degree and coordination coefficient are selected to evaluate the correlation and coordination between industrial structure and employment structure in Henan Province.It is found that the change of employment structure lags behind the industrial structure.Through the grey correlation analysis based on Moore structure value,it is calculated that the lag time of employment structure is about 6 years.The fifth chapter empirically tests the influencing factors of the coordination of production and employment structure,and finds that technological progress,government intervention and labor quality have a significant impact on the coordination coefficient,but the impact of industrialization process is not significant.Finally,combined with the econometric analysis and empirical results of this paper,this paper puts forward targeted suggestions to promote the coordinated development of industry and employment structure in Henan Province.
