| The predecessor of the Basketball World Cup was the World Men’s Basketball Championship held in 1950.On January 28,2012,the International Basketball Federation announced that the Men’s Basketball World Championship was renamed the Basketball World Cup.The best performance of the Chinese team to participate in the Men’s Basketball World Championship is the top eight.The 2019 Men’s Basketball World Cup is the second men’s basketball World Cup.It is also the first time for the Chinese team to participate in the Men’s Basketball World Cup.It was held in 5 cities in China.The Chinese team sent five defenders in the World Cup.This is the most time the Chinese men’s basketball team has sent a defender to participate in a competition.However,the performance of the Chinese team’s defenders was not satisfactory.They did not highlight the “small,fast and flexible” style of the Chinese men’s basketball team,resulting in the Chinese men’s basketball team.Occupying the time,place,people and circumstances,but the results were not as good as people expected,and finally only ranked 24 th,Failure to reach the Tokyo Olympics.Therefore,the comparative study of the offensive ability of the Chinese team’s defender and the opponent’s defender in the 2019 Men’s Basketball World Cup has important significance and reference value.This paper analyzes "score,organization and fouls,offensive rebound,fast attack" through literature,expert interview,video observation,mathematical statistics,and comparative analysis,organize the measured data using Excel 2016 software,and finally compare the 2019 World Cup with SPSS.26 statistical software Test,obtain the data and make a comparative analysis.Thus,we compare the problems existing in the Chinese defenders and put forward realistic relevant suggestions,and provide theoretical reference for the selection of the Chinese men’s basketball defenders and improve the overall level.Study results:1.compared the physical form index data found that there was no significant difference in height,age and weight between Chinese defenders and rival defenders(P> 0.05),Chinese defenders average height is 189.40 cm,fourth among the six teams,average age of 24.8,the youngest of six teams;average weight is 84.60 kg,nearly10kg.behind the first Venezuelan defender Comparing the Klay found significant differences from Nigeria(P <0.05)and very significant differences from Venezuela(P<0.01).2.found no significant difference in two points(P> 0.05),with Chinese defenders who averaged two points per game at the last of the six teams.There was no significant difference between 3-point points(P> 0.05);no significant difference between defenders and defenders in free throws(P> 0.05).3.found no significant difference between other teams(P> 0.05);the offensive rebound indicators showed a significant difference in the offensive rebounds between Chinese defenders and Ivory Coast(p <0.05).Comparing fast attacks,assists and error indicators,4.found no significant difference between Chinese defenders and rival defenders(P> 0.05).5.compared the data of basic attack matches and found that there was no significant difference between Chinese defenders and rival guards and Chinese defenders(P> 0.05).In the number of successful matches,it found a significant difference from South Korean defender(P <0.05).Research Conclusion:1.The height is not the only standard to judge the strength of the defenders.Although the height is higher than Venezuela,it is obviously behind the opponent in the weight and Kolai index.The typical "thin" physical form characteristics of Chinese men’s basketball guards directly affect the ability to fight the opponents in high-intensity games.In terms of age,the average age of the Chinese defender is the smallest among the six teams.Although it is in a young state,due to the lack of experience in the game,the defender member can not reasonably handle the key ball in the decisive ball.On the one hand,there is a big gap with the opposing defender.2.Chinese defender two-points score,three-point score,free throw score are not outstanding,too dependent on outside far shooting,shooting rate is not guaranteed,scoring efficiency is not high,free throws need to be further improved,from the scoring index statistics can see that the Chinese defender still need to further improve the shooting technology in the high-intensity game.Poland and Nigeria defenders have the most outstanding scoring ability,comprehensive scoring methods and the team’s core defenders are generally high shooting rate.3.Chinese team defender in the number of fouls and offensive rebound performance general,Nigeria and Poland guard in the foul,the Chinese defender ’s offensive rebound and rival defender has a more obvious gap,in the case of relatively thin body,card and rebound is also lack of consciousness,so that our men’ s basketball team front second attack number is less.The Chinese defenders did not take advantage of their age to actively create fouls and rebounds.4.China’s defender assists,errors and fast attacks are not bad assists compared with opposing defenders,but the passing richness and threat need to be further enhanced.In the game,the opponent defender caught the weakness of weak Chinese players ’passing awareness,and targeted the full-court defense,resulting in the low quality of China’ s basketball team.China’s defender made fewer mistakes than the opposing defender,but there are also three defenders present at the same time.The number of successful fast attack is not much,long pass and short pass cooperation use is less,most of the launch after fast attack to singles.5.in the basic cooperation of the Chinese defender and the opponent defender compared with a certain gap.China overall attack play single,defenders in addition to cover with more success,pass,strategy,use less on the field,Chinese defenders attack timing
