The reading of the whole book is of great significance in cultivating students’ comprehensive Chinese ability and improving the core literacy of Chinese.Since the new century,the theoretical and practical circles of Chinese education have paid more and more attention to the ability of students to read the entire book,and the "Guide to Reading of Classics" section has been specially set up in the textbooks of the unified edition of Chinese for junior high schools.Compared with the teaching of single texts,the content of reading of classics is complicated,the teaching takes a long time,and the instruction is difficult.How to improve the efficiency of reading of classics with scientific guidance has become an urgent problem in the field of reading teaching.This research is based on the concept of promoting learning by evaluation,and tries to explore the solution path of the problem starting from the communication evaluation.There are four chapters in the thesis.The first chapter discusses the important value of communicative evaluation in the reading teaching of famous novels.Firstly,it discusses the connotation and value of communication evaluation based on related theories.Then,it expounds the necessity of communicative evaluation in the reading teaching of famous novels from three perspectives: Chinese curriculum standards,senior high school entrance examination syllabus,and the requirements for the reading of classics in the junior middle school Chinese textbooks.Finally,it introduces in detail the system structure of the "Guide to Reading of Masterpieces" unit of the junior middle school Chinese textbook and the analysis of selected chapters of famous novels.The second chapter is the analysis of the status quo.It mainly uses questionnaires to investigate the understanding and implementation of communication evaluation of teachers and students.The survey found that: teachers and students do not have a deep understanding of communicative evaluation;there is a single evaluation method for the reading teaching of novels;the evaluation dimensions are mainly focused on the content of fiction,and other evaluation dimensions are lacking;teachers lack specificity and operation in the use of communicative evaluation Strong strategies;lack of continuity in the collection of evaluation information;teachers’ feedback on students’ reading conditions is not timely.The third chapter is the application of communicative evaluation of masters of Chinese novels in junior middle school.Aiming at the problems of communication evaluation,firstly,the multi-dimensional evaluation content of fiction classics is determined from the three aspects of Chinese curriculum standards,the test questions of classics in the high school entrance examination,and the academic perspective,and the reading evaluation content table of fiction classics is designed according to the six evaluation dimensions.Then it introduces the three main evaluation forms of communicative evaluation in the teaching of novel classics: classroom questioning,group discussion and student diary,and puts forward specific operating strategies for each form.As far as classroom questioning is concerned,teachers should judge students’ reading situations through different levels of question design;as far as group discussions are concerned,it is necessary to clarify the level and division of the group to mobilize the enthusiasm of the group to participate in evaluation;as far as student diaries are concerned,it is necessary Encourage students to share reading experiences and opinions through various types of reading diaries.Finally,it introduces the participants of communication evaluation and the conditions for effective implementation of communication evaluation.The fourth chapter presents a case of communication evaluation design of the masterpiece "Journey to the West".First,the teaching value of "Journey to the West" is analyzed;then the evaluation content of "Journey to the West" is determined from the three dimensions of the content of the novel,reading ability and reading method;finally,four specific evaluation and implementation strategies are proposed.
