The sense of meaning of life means that an individual can find the direction and goal of present or future life by thinking about the reason or purpose of existence,thus obtain the identity of "being a valuable person" in the process of realizing the goal.Secondary vocational students are in the formation of outlook on life,values and world outlook,defined by many psychologists as a stormy period,so they are easy to be affected by external information or evaluation.During this period,they tend to feel empty,bored and frustrated,without a clear purpose in life and a sense of being worth.Therefore,guiding secondary vocational students to pursue the meaning and value of life is of great significance for them to form correct values and to improve the quality of life in the future.In this study,120 first-grade students from a secondary vocational school in Liaoning province were surveyed by cluster sampling method and the life purpose scale was revised by Song Qiurong.On this basis,the study further screened two homogeneous classes as the research object,randomly divided into experimental class and control class,the experimental class and control class before and after the quasi-experimental design model,the secondary vocational students’ sense of life meaning experimental intervention,and the effect of the intervention program was studied.Meaning treatment theory as the core,this study combines the hierarchy of needs theory,the theory of positive psychology and life idea to design interventions in Chinese culture courses,and five different dimensions of "enthusiasm for life","life goal","sense of autonomy","enthusiasm" and "future expectations" in the questionnaire were used as promotion goals.Through practice tests,Explore a set of practical promotion value of secondary vocational students’ sense of life meaning promotion program,in order to improve students’ sense of life meaningeffectively.In the experiment,the subjects in the experimental class received a total of 8intervention courses of 90 minutes once a week,while the control class did not receive any experimental treatment.Test whether there are significant differences between the experimental class and the control class in the total score of the scale and the scores of each dimension before and after the experiment.The results show that the level of life meaning of secondary vocational students is low;After the course intervention of sense of meaning of life was taught,the scores of sense of meaning of life and its dimensions were significantly improved.After intervention,the meaning of life and the scores of all dimensions of the experimental class were significantly higher than those of the control class.According to the experimental results and the summary and arrangement of the interview outline,this study puts forward the following educational suggestions: Secondary vocational schools should pay attention to the effective guidance for students to pursue spiritual goals and life meaning;Students should have a correct view of themselves,set up life and career goals,then enhance the awareness and ability to take responsibility;Parents of students should support and care for their children,and provide appropriate growth guidance.
