| With the implementation of the national policy of " stable residence," it is required to help the residents of relocation sites to achieve identity change,that is,from ’ villagers ’ to ’ residents ’.However,the elderly groups are prone to some social adaptation problems due to integration.On the basis of the author ’ s professional internship and community survey,it is found that most of the elderly groups over the age of 60 in the settlement have interpersonal adaptation problems,mostly because of the lack of methods and skills to deal with interpersonal relationships,the lack of initiative,the lack of communication platform,the unsound social support network,the low sense of mutual assistance and so on.This dilemma of elderly interpersonal adaptation has a negative impact on their adaptation to the change of identity and role and integration into community life.It is of great practical significance to study the micro-problems that are urgently needed to be solved by vulnerable groups.In this study,the qualitative research method is used to study eight elderly people,and the group work professional theory is used to guide the practical methods and skills to intervene.In practice,the effectiveness of group intervention guided by theory was verified,and the methods to improve their interpersonal relationship adaptation problems were explored,so as to find out whether the team members had changed their active communication,self-expression,skills and methods,peer support and mutual aid consciousness,and effectively guide the team members who had interpersonal relationship adaptation needs and ability improvement willingness to achieve their goals.During the activity,this study invited community workers to observe and evaluate.By observing the performance of the group members,we evaluated the effectiveness of the group intervention,and learned about the changes and growth of the group members after they joined the group.This study found that through the professional guidance of the interactive group model theory,using the skills and methods of group work,and acting and guiding in the process in line with the core value concept of social work of helping others to help themselves,the self-help ability of group members can be excavated through the interactive model.After six group activities,the eight elderly group members have improved and improved their active communication,self-expression,skills and methods,peer support and mutual aid awareness,and achieved the improvement of interpersonal adaptability from the individual level of group members.Relying on the platform set up by group activities,they expanded their social network circle for the whole community and enhanced their happiness in life.Of course,there are subtle differences among individuals,and the group as a whole is developing well.This study has verified that group work intervention has a positive effect on the interpersonal adaptation of the elderly,and it can help them better adapt to their later life and enjoy happiness,which is highly targeted. |
