Case Work Is Involved In The Study Of Environmental Adaptation Of The Newly Admitted Elderly In Pension Institutions

With the continuous development of modernization,the situation of aging in China is becoming more and more serious.The elderly population shows the trend of aging and empty nest,the miniaturization of families and the weakening of pension function,pension institutions have become one of the new pension methods.In the transformation of the original family life care to the nursing care facing the strange and closed environment,they not only need to establish good contact with the peer groups and staff in the institution,but also change their mentality to adapt to the new life.This article through the Guiyang G pension institutions in the old man in-depth interview and observation,found that the old man is difficult to adapt environment,mainly manifested in daily basic life discomfort,psychological loss and loneliness,the lack of interpersonal consciousness and interpersonal relationship and the discomfort and pension institutions service and management,etc.,thus affect the new old people in old age quality of life.According to the problems and needs presented by the environmental adaptation of the new elderly,this paper formulates the goal of improving the environmental adaptation of the new elderly on the basis of the unanimous consent of the service objects,their families and the staff of the elderly institutions,and makes a targeted case service plan according to the goal.In the process of service practice,based on the social support theory and the cognitive behavioral treatment mode as the case service mode,through the 3-month case service,the problem of environmental adaptation of the newly admitted elderly is basically solved,and the happiness,gain and satisfaction of the newly admitted elderly in the pension institutions are effectively improved.The study found that by combining the techniques of case work and social support theory,it helps the service object to identify bad cognitive emotions,change their irrational ideas,and explore the formal and informal social support network resources of the service object in an unfamiliar environment.By improving and building family,peer groups,medical resources and pension institutions and other aspects of support,strengthen the service object of social support network,improve the service object of social support network utilization,alleviate emotional distress and discomfort of daily life,can make the new old man gradually adapt to the new environment and into the collective life.
