Bullying has become a serious problem that harms the physical and mental development of children and teenagers all over the world.A series of measures have been taken to deal with bullying.Ireland has introduced a number of policies and measures to promote anti-bullying education.The anti-bullying education component of SPHE(Social,Personal and Health Education)in Ireland has had a significant effect in reducing bullying rates and tackling bullying.It aims to help students create a sense of belonging and integration,develop communication and conflict resolution skills,develop good interpersonal relationships and teach students how to deal with bullying.This study is divided into four parts,the first part describes the development objectives and outline of SPHE in Ireland,and points out the relevant national and school departments supporting its implementation,including the establishment of SPHE support services and safety inspection.The second part details the relevant content of anti-bullying education in SPHE,including the subject,object,target,content,strategy,method of anti-bullying education implementation in SPHE,as well as the evaluation,support,successful implementation process and specific cases.This paper also describes the selection of anti-bullying education content in SPHE,based on the syllabus of SPHE,the Irish Development of Education provides relevant anti-bullying education resources for primary and secondary schools as the learning content of anti-bullying education in SPHE.Since there is no fixed teaching material and specific learning content in SPHE,In terms of the selection of anti-bullying education content in SPHE,the Irish Development of Education provides relevant anti-bullying education resources for primary and secondary schools based on the syllabus of SPHE as the learning content of anti-bullying education in SPHE.The "Stay Safe" program is taken as the research object in primary school,and the relevant contents of anti-bullying education in SPHE resources provided by the Development of Education are taken as the research object in secondary school.The content of anti-bullying education is mainly summarized into five aspects: understanding and learning of anti-bullying,cultivating students’ interpersonal skills,help students improve self-awareness,enhance self-prevention,help students make responsible decisions,and self-control and emotion regulation.The main body of its implementation involves a wide range of personnel,implementation strategies and methods and evaluation methods are diverse.The third part describes the effectiveness and characteristics of anti-bullying education in SPHE.After the formal implementation of SPHE,the probability of bullying in Ireland has been greatly reduced,and the anti-bullying effect of SPHE is obvious.SPHE has many features to learn from,such as the wide range of participants,teaching contents and innovative teaching forms.The fourth part describes the causes of bullying problems in China,such as parents’ lack of attention and lack of systematic policy support,and provides references for bullying problems in China based on the experience of Ireland.
