| The cluster sampling method was conducted on 506 high school students in Xuzhou city,Jiangsu Province and Mudanjiang City,Heilongjiang Province,to explore the relationship between learned helplessness and study burnout,as well as the differences between academic self-efficacy and coping methods in the relationship between the neutralization mechanism and demographic variables.The results show that:(1)there is a significant positive correlation between learned helplessness and learning burnout in high school students,and a significant positive correlation between academic self-efficacy and coping style;There is a significant negative relationship between learned helplessness,learning burnout and academic selfefficacy and coping style;(2)Learned helplessness can affect learning burnout through the chain mediation of academic self-efficacy and coping methods;(3)There are significant differences in high school students’ learned helplessness in gender,originand whether they are the only child;Academic self-efficacy was significantly different in grade and gender;There are significant differences in whether study burnout is a class cadre,a student source,and whether it is the only child;There were significant differences in grade,origin,whether the only child and the mother’s education.This study reveals the relationship between learned helplessness and learning burnout and its mechanism of action,and the differences in demographic variables,providing suggestions to guide high school students to reduce the negative impact of learned helplessness on learning burnout,and better promote the academic and mental health development of high school students. |
