Under the theoretical guidance of sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology and sedimentary petrology, and other related geological knowledge, this paper fully exerted the existing drilling, logging data.Integrating microscopic with macroscopic methods, the research was taken by combining indoor and outdoor and by means of geology and logging seismicity. This paper mainly studied the sequence of stratigraphic division, petrological characteristics, the type of sedimentary facies distribution and the characteristics of sedimentary facies distribution of the fourth member, which locate at the Shahejie Formation, the Shuguang area, western sag of the Liaohe Depression.According to the existing large amount of drilling data, well logging data, and seismic data in the Shuguang region, this paper combined with the achievement of predecessors and by means of stratigraphic sequence division and comparison in detail. The fourth member of the Shahejie Formation in the Shuguang area was divided into one three-level sequence, two four-level sequences and four five-level sequences. In addition, within the area,a series of contrast profiles of the vertical and horizontal interlinked wells were designed to conduct stratigraphic correlation, and an isochronal sequence stratigraphic framework at the fourth member of the Shahejie Formation of the Shuguang area was established. The development of carbonate rocks in the fourth member of the Shahejie Formation is controlled by many factors.Paleogeomorphology, paleoclimate, supply of terrigenous clastic materials and lithology of denudation area all have certain influence on carbonate deposition.
