Technical Considerations From An Ecological Perspective

Since the industrial revolution,technology has been developed rapidly,especially in the 21st century.On the one hand,the development of technology greatly facilitates social production and people's life,and promotes social progress.But at the same time,the development of technology also brings a series of problems,especially the ecological environment problems,which cause people to re-examine technology.As an important representative of Ecological Marxist School,Foster has a deeply thinking on the ecological environment of capitalist society,and his technical thought in the ecological perspective is very unique.But for a long time,the academic research mainly focused on the elucidation of Forster's ecological thought,but ignored his technical thought.Forster's technological thought inherited the essence of the two technological thinking along the road of Marx's classical Writers and Frankfurt School's technical criticism.From the perspective of ecology,rethink for the technology,which is very characteristic.On the basis of absorbing the relevant technical theories of Marx,Engels and Frankfurt School,Forster took "metabolic fracture" as the logical starting point of technical thought and launched the uncovering and criticizing of capitalist ecological crisis.He clarified that the capitalist society under the guidance of capital logic hoped to solve many dilemmas of capitalist ecological crisis through technology itself,and put forward the idea of triple revolution,which is the ecological road of technology,so as to build up its own unique technological thought system.Forster's technology thought creatively integrates technology consideration,social criticism and ecological criticism into an organic unity.He believes that technology is not neutral,but has value load,and the logic of capital is deeply rooted in the capitalist society.More importantly,foster took the lead in putting forward the path of capitalist system reform,which has aroused wide attention and thinking in capitalist society.At the same time,his technical thought also has obvious limitations.In his opinion,the power of technology is completely controlled by social system,and technology does not have autonomy,which is questionable.And the realization of his technology ecological road also faces many difficulties.In the process of building socialist modernization in an all-round way,China is also faced with such problems as how to coordinate the relationship between technology and ecological protection,how to avoid the negative impact of technological development,and how to realize the ecological development of technology.The consideration of Foster's technical thought may provide us with some reference and enlightenment.
