The Baoshan Basin is located in the western border of Yunnan Province,spreading in a north-south direction,with well-developed faults and good geological background conditions.The geothermal resources in the basin show more distribution,and the geothermal resources have great potential.However,the geothermal resources distributed in some areas do not match the demand.If this happens,it will cause a waste of geothermal resources.This paper takes the main thermal control structures and geothermal distribution in Baoshan Basin as the main research objects,and uses physical detection technology to find out the location and basic characteristics of the main faults.The geothermal water in the basin was collected for hydrochemical and hydrogen and oxygen stable isotope analysis,combined with geothermal geological background,hydrogeological conditions and hot water well data,etc.,to find out the distribution characteristics of geothermal abnormal areas.The basic relationship between the geothermal anomaly zone characteristics and the distribution of main faults is explained,which can provide a reference for the development and application of geothermal resources in the Baoshan Basin.According to the results of geophysical prospecting and combined with the analysis of existing regional geological data,the Moanjiazhai fault is the main fault in the area.The Moojiazhai fault is located on the east and west edges of the Baoshan Basin.The north and south branches are connected to the outcropping faults.They are the main controlling faults that form the Baoshan fault basin.The basic rock veins along the fault zone are well developed,and there are many nearby fault zones.In Wenquan,several weak earthquakes have occurred along the fault zone,indicating that the fault is a large-scale multi-phase active fault.According to the interpretation of the hot water drilling data and physical exploration results that have been successfully constructed in the basin,the drilling is mainly located near the main fault zone,and low-resistance zones showing underground hot water appear nearby,and the hot water is mainly distributed in the fault zone.On the side of the belt,the fault zone provides favorable conditions for the flow,storage and migration of groundwater,and is a channel for communicating hydrothermal activities in the area.The Banqiao-Beimiao hydrothermal activity anomaly area and the Jinji Hot Spring anomaly area appear at the wrong location of the east branch of the Moanjiazhai Fault;the Jiaxin Hot Spring anomaly area and the Chaiguantun anomaly area appear at the wrong location of the west branch of the Moanjiazhai Fault;Baoshan is rich in geothermal resources,and the surface thermal activity density is relatively high.According to the analysis of geochemical characteristics,the chemical types of underground hot water in Baoshan Basin are mainly HCO3-Ca·Mg water and HCO3-Na water.The main source of replenishment is atmospheric precipitation,and it comes from precipitation replenishment from relatively high geographical locations in mountainous areas,and its discharge is mostly in the form of springs.
