The Euteliinae is distributed worldwide and mainly lives in forests and orchards, feeding on plant buds, new leaves and fallen leaves. The group belongs to the family Euteliidae and about 320 species have been recorded worldwide. As a unique small group under the taxonomic order of Noctuoidea,it still retains many primitive shapes, living habits and ecological niches similar to Noctuidae, which is of great significance in the systematic evolution of Noctuidae. In this paper, the morphological classification of Euteliinae of Euteliidae was studied on the basis of a large number of specimens collected in southwest China(Guangxi,Yunnan,Guizhou,Sichuan,Chongqing, and Xizang). In this paper,20 species of the subfamily Euteliinae belonging to 6 genera collected from southwest China are described, among them 2 are new spicies,5 are new record from China,1 is new record from Mainland China, and 6 are new record from southwest China. At the same time, the external morphology and genitalia characteristics were described in detail, and pictures of adult and genitalia were attached. This study is the first systematic investigation of the taxonomy of the subfamily Euteliinae in southwest China, which further enriches the species description and record of the subfamily, and provides a basic basis for agricultural and forestry control and biodiversity investigation in southwest China. All the specimens described in this paper are kept in the Entomological Herbarium of Northeast Forestry University.
