High density polyethylene is a kind of plastics with excellent performance,its products are widely used in various fields.But the disadvantage of HDPE is also obvious,such as low intensity,low hardness,poor heat resistance et al.The main purpose of this paper is the modification of HDPE.In this paper,with HDPE acting as matrix composites,PAN fiber and phenolic spheres as fillers,PAN fiber/HDPE composites,phenolic spheres/HDPE and PAN fiber/phenolic spheres/HDPE composites were prepared by melt blending.POM test,SEM test,mechanical tests,the rheological test,DMA test,TG test,thermal mechanical test and surface energy test were applied to characterize content of filler on the performance of the composite materials.The results indicated that the filler had a good dispersion;When the mass fraction of PAN fiber is 9% by the binary blend,the mechanical properties of the composite has improved significantly,but the impact strength decreased;the PAN fiber,phenolic ball,high density polyethylene blend three yuan,composites with the best overall performance,but the impact strength of material decreases obviously;When the mass fraction of phenolic spheres as filler is 4%,the mechanical properties,thermal stability of the prepared composite has improved significantly;The performance of the prepared composite is optimal by ternary blends of PAN fiber,phenolic spheres,and HDPE.
