Phenol is easy to be absorbed by skin and mucous membrane,which will cause great damage to human function.In this paper,glucose is used as the co metabolite of phenol solution.The performance of EGSB reactor and AnMBR in treating artificial simulated phenol wastewater is compared.The results of two reactors are compared.The operating parameters in the process of operation are the removal rate of COD before the reactor starts and the COD is operated The energy gas yield and the factors influencing the reaction such as pH and HRT were analyzed.The anaerobic granular sludge used in the culture and domestication test is needed before the formal comparative test.The tolerance of anaerobic granular sludge to phenol under different sludge loads and the change of influencing factors in the degradation of phenol are studied.Finally,the removal rate of COD in AnMBR is higher than that of EGSB reactor in the start-up and operation stage,and the efficiency of CH4 production of AnMBR is higher than that of EGSB reactor during the stable operation of the system,which is due to the effective interception of anaerobic microorganisms in the reactor by hollow fiber membrane in AnMBR;The optimal operating parameters of the two reactors are analyzed.AnMBR is about 5.062% higher than the COD removal efficiency and CH4 yield of EGSB reactor.Moreover,membrane components in AnMBR are easy to block and cause membrane pollution,which increases the operation cost of the reaction.So in order to save the operation cost,EGSB reactor can be used if the water quality index after treatment is not strict.AnMBR is used when the water quality index after treatment is strictly required.The membrane module in AnMBR(hollow fiber membrane is adopted in this test)has increased the filtration effect compared with EGSB reactor,and its COD removal rate is higher than that of EGSB reactor.Because its membrane module is easy to be polluted,the paper puts forward the membrane pollution mechanism and the method of cleaning membrane module to recover its flux,It is found that the physical and chemical cleaning method can improve the membrane pollution and restore the membrane flux more efficiently.
