In this paper,combining with the actual situation of the detection rate of foam eddy current detector of J company,the main influencing factors of low detection rate of foam eddy current detector are found by using the permutation diagram method,and the cause of the characteristic detection rate is analyzed in detail with fishbone diagram,and the main factors affecting the detection rate of the characteristic are analyzed through single factor method.The influence degree and the significance of the element on the characteristic detection rate of the foam eddy current detector.Firstly,according to the single-factor analysis,the method to improve the primary characteristic detection rate of the foam eddy current detector was obtained.The probe coverage area was increased,the thickness of the foam covering layer was reduced,and the running speed was controlled.The characteristic detection rate of the foam eddy current detector was relatively high.Then,through the analysis of the intuitive data,the best conditions are obtained,and the characteristic detection rate of the foam eddy current detector is the highest.From the range analysis results,it is concluded that the thickness of the foam layer has the greatest influence on the characteristic detection rate of the foam eddy current detector,and the influence of the operation speed and the number of probes is relatively close.Then,the three-factor and three-level orthogonal tests were carried out on the foam covering thickness,running speed and number of probes by using the multi-factor analysis method,and the analysis was obtained from the factor contribution rate.Finally,PDCA method was used to study the process of improving the characteristic detection rate of the foam eddy current detector,which realized the improvement of the characteristic detection rate of the foam eddy current detector,and provided certain experience for the application of the quality management tool in the detector in the pipeline,with good practical significance.
