A Study On The Aesthetic Value Of Grass Dyed Clothing In Life

As a traditional dyeing technique,grass and wood dyeing has a history of thousands of years,and the technical characteristics,creation concepts,aesthetic characteristics and cultural attributes behind it are extremely precious.As China’s excellent intangible cultural heritage,the inheritance and development of plant dyeing technology is very necessary.With people’s attention to the natural environment and the pursuit of green and healthy life,more and more green ecological design came into being.As a traditional technology from nature,plant dyeing can not only reduce the damage to the environment,but also has multiple functions.It meets the aesthetic needs of contemporary people in pursuit of simplicity and retro style.In recent years,with the popularity of national culture and handicrafts,grass and wood dyeing has returned to the public’s vision.In this paper,the traditional dyeing related literature,materials,books were systematically studied and summarized,and many records of plant dyes were collected and summarized.This paper briefly introduces the historical evolution of grass and wood dyes,analyzes the application status of grass and wood dyes in various historical periods,and analyzes the mutual influence between this ancient dyeing technique and the social hierarchy of Chinese traditional clothing color from the perspective of traditional clothing color culture system,and studies the historical culture and aesthetic changes derived from this.Based on the artistic value of contemporary grass and wood dyeing clothing,from the perspective of aesthetic value,this paper explores the deep spiritual core and philosophical understanding behind the creation while inheriting and developing.This paper discusses the possibility and development of plant dyeing in modern society,so as to create more distinctive artistic works.
